  1. yes, just do this: Go to tools Go To Accounts Click on Add >>>> Mail Type in any name you wanna use then, when it asks for email address, type in your xxxxx@hotmail.com follow the steps, and it will be added as a new mailbox it is buggy sometimes, but it works
  2. Here is all the skinny on the show from todays ny post http://www.nypost.com/news/regionalnews/40106.htm from the article The event is free, but concertgoers will have to vie for tickets. AOL employees will spend the next week passing out "sweepstakes tokens" in which winners get into the show.
  3. I agree, Dj's do this all the time.......post dates on their websites before promoters announce anything......this date might change 2 or 3 more times before November.....then again, it might not
  4. this is not a summerstage event...... it's a free concert with a ticket (whatever that means) and it is gonna be on the Great Lawn, not at the summerstage.....there may be over 2million people there it will be like Simon and Garfunkel back in the 80's or Garth Brooks in the 90's.....huge
  5. I'll be there........sounds like a fun night
  6. Already? Post #1 of 5,999,999 to come
  7. thanks for the links i'll give them a listen 2 nite i'd rather learn and be enlightened then attack and be ignorant
  8. I still respect it musically, and while all of your points are valid and true, techno still is the most repetitive and monotonous (using monotony not as slander, but as the ACTUAL definition of the word) type of EDM in the whole scene........... even chillout music and more flow, rythm and style than techno does
  9. Paul Van Dyk DJing live right now 2pm to 4pm http://www.fritz.de/fritz_sure.smi
  10. Born and raised in Detroit, and while i respect the music, i highly dislike it
  11. Yeah, i hate that his sets are so short, but 90min is longer than he usually spins, at nation he tends to spin for 2 hours...... i guess in the world of progressive DJ's and 15minute songs he has to keep his sets short, because he only sticks with a song for about 90sec or 2minutes before he gets tricky or fades into something else, so in 90minutes he goes through as many records as any other DJ would in 3hours
  12. It's still a while away........but for the 100 times i've seen him spin in NYC......never once has he come close to the energy he has when he spins a set for Buzz......NOV 28 dc trip for me
  13. It is shot in a dark room with 3 levels and chain link fence everywhere....dunno if its crobar though
  14. So, i am coming back from lunch to my office on 42nd street, and we have those TV's in our elevator.....they are showing the weather, and then a screen comes up called the clubplanet nightlifestyle screen saying moby is releasing a DVD soon........ Damn, I've got clubplanet at my house, at my office, on the radio, and now in my ELEVATOR........LOL
  15. Should be killer Dont get me wrong....Luis Diaz is an awesome DJ, i just wish PVD would have someone else open for him......i am gettin a little tired of Luis' sound.
  16. http://paulvandyk.com/reflections/teaser/flash_content/flash_content.html BRILLIANT....go to the tour dates on the flash page

  19. You are right, i am deleting my last post....sorry to jump the gun ohhhhhh shit......cant even give me a hint?????? I hate ANTICIPATION!!!!!! Would it have something to do with his BENHIND THE DECKS album release tour????
  20. props to the runner on the DC Board for this one..... Think you are old???????? The people who are starting college this fall across the nation were born in 1985. They have no meaningful recollection of the Reagan era and probably did not know he had ever been shot. They were prepubescent when the Persian Gulf War was waged. There has been only one pope in their lifetime. They were 10 when the Soviet Union broke apart and do not remember the Cold War. They are too young to remember the space shuttle blowing up on takeoff. Tiananmen Square means nothing to them. Bottle caps have always been screw off and plastic. Atari predates them, as do vinyl albums. The statement "You sound like a broken record" means nothing to them. (They have never owned a record player.) They have likely never played Pac Man and have never heard of Pong. They may have never heard of an 8-track tape. The compact disc was introduced when they were 1 year old. They have always had an answering machine. Most have never seen a TV set with only 13 channels, nor have they seen a black and white TV. They have always had cable. There have always been VCRs, but they have no idea what Beta was. They cannot fathom not having a remote control. They don't know what a cloth baby diaper is or know about the "Help me, I've fallen and I can't get up!" commercial. They were born the year that Walkman was introduced by Sony. Roller skating has always meant inline for them. Michael Jackson has always been white. Jay Leno has always been on "The Tonight Show." They have no idea when or why Jordache jeans were cool. Popcorn has always been cooked in the microwave. They have never seen Larry Bird play. They never took a swim and thought about "Jaws." The Vietnam War is as ancient history to them as World War I, World War II, and the Civil War. They have no idea that Americans were ever held hostage in Iran. They can't imagine what hard contact lenses are. They don't know who Mork was or where he was from. (The correct answer, by the way, is Ork.) They never heard: "Where's the beef?", "I'd walk a mile for a Camel," or "De plane, de plane!" They do not care who shot J.R. and have no idea who J.R. was. Kansas, Chicago, Boston, America, and Alabama are places, not bands. There has always been MTV. They don't have a clue how to use a typewriter.
  21. remember when : you would NEVER sit in the back of the subway train unless you had a death wish and you would never ride em after 9 or 10pm everyone smoked in the backs of the buses the subway trains and walls were ALL covered with bombs and tags the cops wore those light blue uniforms the subways had their OWN police department all the flowers in city parks were in cages so no one would steal them all the street signs were Yellow NOT green hearing a gunshot would not faze you If you went in grand central station, the bums would throw glass bottles at you, or chase you.... three card monte was everywhere any others?
