I was chatting with this guy that's from back east (like me) he's been out here for about a year as well and said that there's really no nightlife in SD like how NYC is -- he said that LA would be my best bet -- so maybe I'll have to plan a little trip up there for a weekend or something ... good luck in FLA!!

I hear that dowtown gaslamp district is pretty cool -- but haven't really attempted to get down there to check it out ... I'll keep y'all posted though if I do find out anything ... u new to SD too??
