Thanks for answering the question... couldn't have said it better myself. I don't listen to real house, I listen to hip hop. I don't crawl into hidden lounges, I walk into them while you guys watch me wondering what I said, or who I know. I do ignore guidos when I go out, but make a mockery of them on this board for waxing their brows to get the arch I naturally have. The can keep doing their steroids... maybe one day they'll feel better bout them self.
Thousands? I don't remember the last time Metro, Tempts, Merge, Deko, or any of your jersey clubs could pack in 1000 people? Maybe Hunka Bunka in Sayreville, lol. If the business of house music is doing so well, then why is it we have another thread on opinions of who the next resident dj of Tempts will be? Answer: Because Tempts is dying, as is house music. The guido is a dying breed. They didn't pack 1000 people in 1998, and they definitely didn't do 1000 on any night this summer. People only go their to do their drugs so that they have an escape for their mediocre lives. For that day you guys can feel important, and party like rockstars. For me, its just another day in the life.

US clubs suck?

I do get out... That's the point, NO? Best venue award, lmao. What are you telling me? That the place is nice? When I said US clubs suck, what I really meant to say was CLUBS SUCk, but if I had to pick one, it definitely wouldn't be a club in the US. The fact of the matter is, I'd rather spend a night at Marquee than any of the places you named, but since I CAN get in, and you can't, you choose to frequent places with a high Male:Female ratio, who won't give you problems at the door. Enjoy your sausage fest buddy.

I couldn't disagree more. If you were there to experience a Friday night at Joey's, or see firsthand the energy at Temps (before this past summer), or live the pure magic at Metro, you'd feel differently. Clubs in Europe don't even compare.
Been there, done that bro. OK, I'm just saying that the trend is the lounges. That's where its at, and big clubs such as Crobar, Avalon, SF, suck. Joey's, Tempts, Metro haha... Guidoville. All filled with followers and posers. But hey, I'm not one to judge. So you guys can go spike your hair, take your shirts off, and dance with the rest of your brethren at Tempts, and leave us real people to run the world (as I've said before).
But, if you really want to compare, I suggest you go to European clubs, and stop watching Wild ON E! to form an opinion on them, rather than just being bias to your guido world. Bottom line is the scene in NJ Sucks.

NOTHING in NJ. If you disagree, you need to get a life, and go experience something else... OUTSIDE OF NEW GUIDO. Palladium in Acapulco, any club in Ibiza, or Europe for that matter. US clubs suck (except Rain)... lounges are where its at. Peace out.

You all need to step it up a notch and look into The Shore Club, or the Delano. Sagamore is owned by the same dude (Ian Schrager), but its not as trendy. Shore club has the nicest pool, and poolside area. Its the trendiest hotel down there. Oh, but it might not be guido enough for you Jersey folk. Also if you know anyone who works for Ford models, you can get the room for $99 bucks. If that person is a model, then its reduced even more. Those are off peak rates, but I doubt that they're more than 30 bucks more for peak season.

I'll give you the 1000 at tempts in 98, but definitely not 3000 at any closing party (that makes your sound like the idiot). The place isn't that big. SF, before the 3rd floor opened, was 3x the size and would fit 4k at capacity. Metro never packed 1000. I walked around Metro on jam packed nights and knew 90% of the people in there, and that did not equate to 900 people. All I have to say is "MTV True Life: I'm a Jersey Shore Guy/Girl"... Again, I win!! Are you gonna tell me those people weren't indicative of your typical tempts goer. The typical tempts head is clearly mistaken and refuses to accept their own truth if they don't think those guys were a good measure (granted they kept all the e, k, and ghb off the air). I'm not saying those guys did it, but if they didn't they are that much more respectable than your average crack head at tempts, and you can't say they're poor excuses and killed seaside. Seaside was already dead because riff raff like deepspell and baldbull killed it.
