  1. I have purchased a few things from amazon and had absolutely no problems at all...I say go for it Mikey
  2. I will be also attending but will not arrive til sometime after 4 with my good friend Kim, if you all remember she was the fierce black bitch that was kicked out opening night when some tranny stole here phone. well last week we were there and one of the female security guards told her she was sorry that happened and all is well so we both along with our pal skippy will be there !!!
  3. Okay ladies and gents, lets have Junior Club Refresher 101 for all you out there that may not know: 1. Junior's parties have always served a gay clientele in the past since that was to a large degree the support for him in the past. 2. All clubs in the past yes are gay in nature, but notice that at the Tunnel for instance there were 2 entrances to the club and there was a unique and diverse group of people. Peter Gatien never had a problem getting a crowd. 3. When Junior began Arena @ Palladium the same door people that now are at Exit on Sat and they were letting straight people in the palladium weekly and the crowd there yet gay was also full of plenty of straight girls and guys, just the later you're there, the more of a manfest it gets. Again Peter Gatien had no problem here either 4. When Junior relocated back to Twilo, yes the party was overwhelmingly gay at 1st during Juniorverse, but lest we all forget that over time, the floor was almost divided in the center and there was a huge mixed crowd in there weekly. 5. You would take not that at the Tunnel it was 10.00 back in 1995 to get in, the palladium 20.00, twilo 25.00 and now Earth 30.00. Point is that club owners also know they can get this from the people who frequent Junior's parties and also due to the fact that it is branded as AfterHours as opposed to a regular night. 6. Junior now resides at Earth. People were totally satisfied the first night even with all the glitches and stuff because there were an overwhelming number of people who attended and were there til mid morning. The crowd was totally diverse and everyone including those gay acknowledged how much fun it was and that it was kewl to talk to so many people there who were not taken by the gay overtone which i though was non-existent. In addition, last week was a small crowd but look at the floor which was flooded for example, people would have been angry about the warping but those there dealt with it. The attendence at a club is always smaller the 2nd week because of the crowds the first week. They will again return once they feel it has settled enough for them to take the challenge again and I believe many will. So If you are gonna complain be educated before you just become upset because your sat night party is being changed and mixed with other culture. WE are open to you why can't you be open-minded to the rest of us? Mike
  4. That coat check was just a mess...hello earth? are you there? Fortunately, there are supposed to be 2 additional coat checks but they weren't finished as of last sat. I waited for like 15 min with friends then we just got out of line and found friends and hid our jackets...that was probably the only criticism i have.
  5. tony --- yes I was with a bunch of other guys and her....this was on the 2nd floor so I believe that you were actually sitting there as well...it was absolutely ridiculous....
  6. I also agree with bashing on this one...what kind of changes are you referring to about changing SAt nights? There were over 5000 people in the place and not one incident of harrasment or abuse that I saw. AS for the STIGMA, this I would like to be enlightened on as well. I am open to anyone that is well behaved and open minded but the trutth of this is the Junior parties are always GAY oriented, but they do let others in...as in Tunnel and Arena days but the doormen (Darryl and Fernando) are required to now at EXIT, filter the crowd of unnecessary baggage that may not be an asset to the party. This is for the club, patrons and employees protection and yours as well. The whole point is that EARTH could be one of the largest parties to hit the city, integrating even more the whole gay vs straight club subculture. Ignorance is the only thing that prevents this from happening. As a Junior song states, "Education is what you need, you can't feed your family on .02 a week." No one is personally attacking you, but as the gay culture has known for decades the general bias of the other community is one of uneducated background. As a citizen of that community, though you may not be uneducated, you should be open and if you do, you may find a whole new world that is FIERCE & FABULOUS. You may then wonder why you ever had preconceived notions regarding us. So there, Education because you are only ghetto-fab when you educate others with your lousy .02 cents. Otherwise I am glad that you are interested in the parties and maybe I'll see you there
  7. So here is my night: We got there around 4:30am and noticed the line not to bad, just to the end of the corner. We immediately found Darryl and headed to the front to avoid the wait and we astonished to find that they were more or less, herding people in the door as fast as possible. No ID Check and security did not even search me. The coat check was absolutely a disgrace and we actually passed it the first time since there were so many bodies it was not apparent that the line wrapped all the way around the bar. We decided after 15 min that this was not going to happen and took off to find friends. The sound system was incredible and was it only me or were you all thinking: What is he playing? The tempo was absolutely a non-stop driving force that could not be resisted. I have not heard Junior turn that shit out like that in what seems like an eternity and this is the Junior that I have missed. I was a little disturbed chatting with a few people from Twilo that were not into the music or scene. All I have to reiterate again to those are that times are a changing and that Miss Junior has more than one side to her. Those of us that attended to prior venue's know this all to well and I believe are in agreement that it was time for this again. This was very reminiscent of the Tunnel and Palladium era's. Deborah Cox came on at 8am and she did 5 songs and the crowd was getting totally werked by her. Junior then continued throughout the morning and played until 4pm. The crowd was huge and let me just say now that those straight girls betta work! They put some fierce fags to shame with their style and class. I am totally into the mixed scene and met a ton of fabulous "straight" people reguardless of the pushing and shoving necessary to get thru conjested areas. They were very polite and were wonderful to chat with. They breathed a bit of fresh air into the club experience. Additionally, the "eye candy" was spectacular and it was difficult to keep from drooling. Who cares if the guys were straight, gay, bi they were hotties. I did notice the so called Exit-leftovers, which their clothes and dancing style alone gave me the idea they were leftovers from a rave from the night before. They were, I think, totally trying to grasp the enormity of the change they were witnessing. Just a little time and they will be fine. Um, did anyone notice the guy in the GAS MASK? Or how about the ALIEN? Anyway, I was very happy with the changes made to the place, the bathrooms were wonderful as they were individual bathrooms (ONE AT A TIME PLEASE...or 2 or 3) as well as the seperated booths that surrounded the 2nd floor with courtesy curtains. I just love the "PRIVACY" they established for our convienence. Also, the dancefloor had been replaced with wood which is ultra-fab for us diehard queens and kickers that dance til the next afternoon repeatedly. The DJ booth is to the left of the 2nd floor catwalk and is absolutely georgeous. It seemed like about 100 degrees at times and I like the 3rd floor lounge that had air conditioning and was peaceful for a little respite. The only real DRAMA of the evening happened with my friend Kim. Turns out that some tranny bitch and here boyfriend that were in from out of town were on top of Kim's bag in the booth area on the 2nd floor and missing from it was her cell phone and cash. Now if this isn't NASTY! Kim looks for the phone with a lighter and asks these two wanna-be NYC diva's to stand up so she can look and asks them about it. They denied it but it seems that this tranny had moved the bad across the booth. Well they leave and not 30 min later Kim goes to look for gurls this is where it gets FIERCE & FABULOUS!!! At the 1st floor bar, she goes up and confronts these two clowns and the tranny says she has ehre own phone and pulls out Kim's. Well Kim grabs the phone, and then this tranny and the guy pins Kim to the bar. Kim tells them to remove their hands or else.Well next thing Miss Kim cracked that tranny across the face and when her boyfriend threatened Kim she called for the bartender who ignored her so MISS KIM TURNED INTO SHADY SUNNAH AND GRABBED THE SODA SPRITZER FROM BEHIND THE BAR AND BITCHSLAPS THE GUY WITH IT. YOU GO GIRL! I was upset that she was then removed by security but only cause the tranny took the phone and Kim still made a scene with them. I am proud of you, you fierce black bitch!! Well turns out that she is allowed to come in next time since Kim then after being kicked out was talking to the head fo security and agreed to go for a drink with him sometime. Now that is what I call "HIGHER CLASS" use of social skills. Overall though it was a spectacle that truly shows what the "SCENE" should be like. Shout out to Bryce, Thayne, Niki, Liza (work that fiece outfit bitch!) and my pal Billy who the night would have never been complete without all of you. It is my belief that this is truly going to be a house where the rules again are broken and we all understand that the musik truly can bring all together!!

  9. That is fine, it was more of what a latter post had put in there. Please take no offense to my statements, I was only clarifying what was appearing to be others stating something I didn't say. Peace
  10. Where is this consistent idea that I said that it was better than Twilo please? I said the place was sick in and of itself and that they were two different venues. I was there when Juniorvese premiered and was there when Arena premiered and find that each has their own sound, feel, atmosphere. My point though was that people are immediatly beginning to misconstrue the info and that they need to take Earth for was it is as opposed to what Twilo once was. As one beautiful boy on the 2nd floor said to me "This is not Twilo, this is the beginning of a whole new existence, It never was Twilo and never will be." As for the gas mask dude, he totally startled me and I of course asked why the hell in a club when it is that hot wear a gas mask? Anyway by the outfit he was wearing I immediatlely accepted the fact that this was not a boy who looks in the mirror before he steps out the door and faces humanity.
  11. While I appreciate the fact you are willing to check it out, It is imperative that you do not even try to think of it as Twilo because you will be totally surprised to find out it isn't. Like Junior, everyone else needs to "Forget the past" especially since this place is sick *GAAAG* in comparison to Twilo. You are in for a real good time.
