  5. as i was standing there watching/listening to harvey play, play mellow music and see everyone have a great time, made me realize what a master he is. this guy could play at slow bpms(120-122) and mellow deep quality tracks and people where loving it. i sure was. i know some thought it was kind of mellow, but he intended it to be that way, thats the beauty of it, he was going against what we are used to, and everyone had a great time. he was in a groove and put the party in that groove. joe is right, we were in aw. anybody that has the balls to play this mellow and have a great party earns my respect. its easy to put on high energy pumping tracks, ofcourse people will love it, it stimulates the surface. im guilty of it myself. This saturday, we heard true deep house, the stimulation was a bit "deeper". i felt like i was at an old warehouseparty, where the parties were all about great music. Truly a legendary night! Doc martin impressed me also, never heard him before and heard mixed reviews, but he was good, worked well with harvey and kept the party going til the last song. overall and excellent party. thanks for coming out. tomorrow (wednesday) night we are at the space patio 1 - 5am. saturday back at lola. see you on the dancefloor. omar dhm dhm@dhmonline.net for mailing list and info.
  6. nightstar: im glad you liked the cd. cafe de flore is an amazing track, it was written by herbert, the version we played was remixed by charles webster (sorry marcus) these are two of our favorite producers, on any given saturday night you will hear atleast a couple of tracks from each of them. if you see anything by them its usually worth buying. george: hopefully you'll always feel our sound is changing, we try to create a new experience every week. after all, we love the music too, so we dont want to get tired of it. good crowds help us experiment more. thanks peace dhm dhm@dhmonline.net for mailing list
  7. Thanks folks, we are glad everyone is enjoying saturdays, thanks for letting us help you make it happen! and thanks for letting us experiment with different (but what we consider great) dance music. dhm the good thing about great dance music is that brings all types of people to party together, just to have a good time. peace dhm@dhmonline.net for mailing list see you saturdays at lola.

  9. hey folks. so this is gonna be a great saturday at dirty little funky thing. we have two guests in from nyc. Jay locke - many of you will know him from the ascension parties. Jay started the ascension party with Omar in nyc and rocked the initial few ascension parties over at starfish. The second guest is Lee Krispin, from the hamsa party in nyc. many of you heard him rock it at aquabooty this past spring. these two djs are a strong influence in the music that dhm plays, and we are excited to have them party with us. this should be an exceptional journey into deep house. also, for those who have been to our after parties, we are having the last one this weekend as we are finally moving out of the big ol house, so feel free to throw a bathing suit in your car. see you there and spread the word.
