If you're a regular at this place and you want the bartenders to remember you, tip well occasionally (i.e. every 4th time up or so tip them a couple bucks extra). This is pretty useless at clubs, but can be really good for lounges. Otherwise, $1 per drink if you're paying up front ($2 or $3 for the first drink if they're paying attention so they serve you faster later in the night), 20% if you're drinking off a tab, and if you don't have money for tips by the end of the night, I'm sure the bartenders wouldn't mind you performing oral pleasure on them in the back. <--- I'm pretty sure this is actually performing cunnilingus/fellatio/analingus rather than laughing

As far as places to get em, there's that block of music stores on Canal St. just east of Broadway. I've been getting most of my equipment there lately...they're dead cheap, they're the real deal (not Chinatown phony stuff), and you can usually bargain with the people since they don't really have prices on anything.

Heh....head to a place like Vinyl (no alcohol), SF (druggie hangout), Roxy (haven for underage mavens), etc and you're bound to get approached for drugs, whoever you are, but ESPECIALLY if you don't look like a cop. Chances are, if you're a "guidette", and if you look like you're having a good time, you're more likely to be approached than someone who's just chilling and scoping out the place.
