  1. I decided to stay in Jersey tonight because of money reasons, but thanks to those trying to help. As for those looking to insult, I didn't come on this board to hear your ignorance.
  2. Ok, so I'm 19, and even have a real NY license that resembles me and says I'm 21, but I'm paranoid! Are there any places I can go to tonight other than Vinyl (I would, but was just there yesterday, and can't see myself spending $30 there tonight) and Webster Hall (too commercial for my mood)? I'd go to Roxy even though it's gay night, but I heard it's like, $50! What's an underage girl from Jersey to do? Are there any places that aren't too inquisitive about ids? Maybe I could get away with my friend's id...*sigh* If anyone has any ideas, I would very much appreciate your help. Thank you (and everyone have fun tonight!).
  3. The world needs more of Danny. My friend Lauren agrees, but she doesn't post. Hi hun!
  4. Oh goodie! I've got at least one follower. Hopefully more by tonight. Maybe by the end of this post? (Crossing fingers) You won't miss me. I'm going a little glam tonight because of my friend's milestone. I'll be in a short, black lace halter dress, with black sandles that wrap up to my ankles, and a black hat with white flowers (stylin!). It's scary though...you might mistake me for one of those...VIP girls. *shiver* Please don't. I can dance, and I have a brain.
  5. Yesterday was my best friend's 18th birthday, and since I can't magically predict whether Roxy will satisfy my needs (lol), I'm bringing him to Vinyl instead. I was thinking about going to Roxy first, but, we're really cheap tonight. Ha ha. Anyways, just wanted to know if some of you peeps will be partying with us.
  6. God I hate Sundays...anyway... I think I'm the only one who can see the silver lining in all of this. Well, not the only one who sees it, but at least the only one who'll actually talk about it. Since no one was hurt, that b@stard fire actually brought us all together. I might not have found Justin and Jon if it weren't for the commotion, and would have never got to dance around that deli blasting KTU. I just can't get over how I went alone, and ended up bonding with so many people. Omg, I'm having a moment.
  7. Wow, such response! I love to see this board so...energized! Now, about my SN. Please people! Do you really think I go clubbing more than once in a blue moon in jersey? As if! (Sorry, just had to throw that in lol) Seriously peeps, NYC has my heart for life. And living 40 minutes away just makes me appreciate it even more. I'm in the city every weekend. Nothing puts a bigger smile on my face than the magic I experience in New York. 252, huh? If this is for real, then I'll definately check it out. And the NJ shore, huh? I have yet to try it. It's a bit of a drive, but I suppose I can set aside a few days for some fun in the sun, then some fun in the dark later on that day...oh f*ck the sun. Any daytime parties around these parts?
  8. Ok, although I had a good time, there was something missing. Everything just sounded repetative. It was music I felt like chilling to. I still danced like a nut, but not as much as usual. Don't get me wrong, Lawler was awesome - just awesome in a chill way. Don't look at me like that! I'm just stating my opinion. lol Anyways, I want to give a shout out (that's right, this is HOT97CP from now on) to Ron, DJJohnStephen, and...damn...I need to get to know more of you folks. Oh, and the people who will probably never read this: Gary, Karim, Omar, Marny, Leor, Barnabus, Remmy, Frankie, Ali, Amanda, B, and any other person I met for the first time ever yesterday morning. Thank you all for making my night going solo, into a night where I never felt alone.
  9. LOL Thinking about going by yourself...try me who's done it more than actually going with others. I admit I'd rather have someone on the way there and on the way home to accompany me, but as for being at the club itself - going solo rocks! No one to babysit, no one clinging onto you. I love being a wanderer...it's probably one of those learned traits. I used to beg everyone to come out with me, and no one would. One day I saw the light, and never went back. The more you ask and get turned down, the worse you'll feel. Don't even bother with your friends anymore. They're your "chill buddies." Let em be.
  10. Heh heh, I think I know who that DJ is. Anyway, it's nice to know I'm not the only one praying for rain in the form of new, happening night clubs. Personally, I love big places, and at the moment, all we have is Sound Factory, Exit, the new Limelight, and Vinyl (yeah, I know it's not that big, but it's got a big heart and a whole lotta soul). Anyway, if Vinyl is ever threatened to get shut down, who wants to protest outside with me? I'll bring food if everyone else can bring tents/sleeping bags/toilet paper/etc.
  11. Ok, now I can't exactly state why I was there last night for "Wild Life Wednsday" (politics...no, it had nothing to do with drugs, lol), but I was, and it absolutely sucked. I still danced my ass off because the music was decent, but what is it about the crowd? No one goes there for the music...it seems like just a place where you get piss-drunk in hopes of getting laid afterwards. I probably should've went for Tenaglia a couple weeks ago to see if there was a major difference (I'm assuming it was much better), but couldn't because I was broke. Was anyone there? Was it worth the money? Thank god I was comped yesterday! I left upset I even paid for parking. Can anyone direct me to a club in Jersey that doesn't suck? I have a feeling Hunka Bunka's not bad...seems more "undergroud." Hey, are they even still open? I'm just looking for places to go when I don't feel like making the trip to the city, but if nothing out here's worth it, then I guess I'll have to shell out an extra $10.25 for the train each and every time I want to party.
  12. Unfortunately, the last Howells party was dead because PVD was in town the night before. , so I was more than happy to see Danny instead. Also, that club hat won, right? I couldn't get a good view while standing on top of the speaker. BSB: Will do. Joe: Tee hee. I was dancing all night long!
  13. BSB: Oh, that sucks. I'm sorry about that. Don't worry, I've missed out on some awesome parties myself because of...well, lots of stuff. But promise me you won't miss out on the next one. I want to see you there! Tepfen: Tell me about it! Check your pm hun.
