Misfilter is a two-piece electronic music group consisting of singer Piper and producer Chord. On the road they are often accompanied by a backing band including live a percussionist and guitarist, with Chord on keyboards/sequencer and turntables. Pipers vocals are often compared to other singer/songwriters like Beth Gibbons [from Portishead] and Tori Amos while Chord's production touches all genres from club thumping acid house to deep/studdering drum and bass and break-beat. Currently Misfilter are performing at venues near and far to stir up the buzz before our LP release. The still untitled album features the planned single "The Spoken Word" (a wierd fusion of drum and bass, hip-hop, alternative rock and acid) and "Ascension" (a haunting piano laden track featuring a Squarepusher-inspired, chaotic drum and bass beat).
