Sneaky Sound System Live plus Adam Tensta live + Hot Pink Delorean Friday June 26 at Webster Hall Sneaky Sound System, the Australian electro outfit, will be performing live this Friday. These guys do a great live show - with one of the best vocalists we've heard for an electro band in a while... Stuart Price and Van She are two of the latest to remix these guys... just one listen and it is obvious these guys are going to be huge. Adam Tensta will also be performing live. DJing for us this week we have Boston-based electro upstarts, Hot Pink Delorean. These guys have been busy. Steve Aoki + Joachim Garraud Friday June 19 at Webster Hall Steve Aoki is BACK!!! LA's finest is returning for another night of electro-induced good times at the one and only Webster Hall... You know it's going to be a big night when this guy gets here - last time it was packed and the energy was amazing. This time around, we also have the amazing Jaochim Garraud... While David Guetta gets all the glory, his production partner, and co-owner of their record label ('Fxxx Me I'm Famous'), Garraud seems content to take a back seat - but those in the know will tell you that he is the one we should all be watching. Often compared to bands such as Joy Division and Interpol, LA based electronic-rock duo She Wants Revenge have toured extensively with Depeche Mode and Placebo, have worked with Timbaland and have earned a huge following with hits like 'Tear You Apart' (this video was directed by Joaquin Phoenix) and 'These Things' (the video for this one features Shirly Manson). Adam has deejayed for us only once before... he's a pro. Etienne De Crecy + DJ Feadz Webster Hall on Friday April 17 We have been fans of Etienne De Crecy for years - he is one of the best French electro-house artists around... he is... 'ow you say?... splendide!!! If you don't know this guy, let us give you a quick guide... check out his excellent electro stomper 'Fast Track' and the French House classics 'Am I Wrong?' and 'Tempovision'... but all these are from a year or two ago... if you want to know what this crazy Frenchie is up to these days - check out this madness right here (we don't know the name of the song yet - but we are in love!!) The good people of Paramount Studios are giving away a bunch of Star Trek goodies this week - in preparation for the release of the new Star Trek movie - so you won't leave empty handed. New Kids on the electro block - Designer Drugs will be banging out some tunes from behind the decks this week... plus the UK's Friendly Fires are going to get behind the booth to spin some tunes - which is setting our heart aflutter too. Calvin has been touring round the world lately, earning himself a reputation as a DJ to be reckoned with...he is one of the biggest names in electro right now...
