There is sack loads of energy in one of his sets,if you want hard trance go see Scot Project,Kai Tracid etc etc

I've never been to Heaven,they have had about 7 events there and i have heard lots of good things about PVD's sets.I think i might make a trip down one day,maybe even to this one,Scott Bond and Ashley Casselle are on as well.
I think you may have got the idea that it is cheesy from my comments on a certain italian on Saturday,this was a one off.I don't consider it cheesy,but if you think Armin,Tiesto etc etc to be cheesy then you may not like what Bondy plays but Casselle doesn't play trance and PVD is playing 3 hrs.

It is definatly to early yet but if you look in the NYE guide thread and on some of the other coming to London threads i have listed most of the best clubs in them.Look out for Turnmills,Fabric,The Cross,The End as they are the best.
Oh and if you haven't booked it yet,i read earlier you like PVD.He is in town at his Gatecrasher residency@Heaven on the 31st Jan.

Yeah maybe he will play a different style,i was under the impression he played Picotto style techno,but he was kinda playin a bit of everything,badly mixed and completly random.Don't get me wrong he played some really good stuff but he couldn't do anything with it and it made his set impossible to get into.

I think you will find that is a review of the Crasher site and they are hardly going to say he was shit are they? I have not read one good review of his performance on Crashers message board from the NEC and i was personally there for his set on Saturday and i have never seen one as bad by a proffesional dj. To prove this,go to this address and read the review of the event and see how many people you can find who enjoyed his set

EDIT-Won't let me link to another board but if you go on Gatecrasher,tranceaddict or anywhere where else there is review of the event you will find people universally slating him,so it is not just me.

Why did they announce it as sold out the week before then? Oh and the last Gatecrasher's were last Friday/Saturday and they were both sellouts.Where are they losing all this money?

I don't think you know what you are talking about really.
Gatecrasher =Sell out montly event in Sheffield,sell out monthly event in london with PVD as resident,15,000 sell out event at NEC 2 weeks ago with an all star lineup,they are really in the shit.
They also own club Bed which pulls all the big names in house music.I think you will find just because a few so called superclubs that have been around for years start losing numbers,doesn't mean shit.There are a hundred other clubs which are coming through at the moment which are poised to take over from them,just you haven't heard of them.

If i have to pick just one i'd probably say Armin,mainly due to him being so good all the times i've seen him this year.There are about 5 other dj's i like just as much though.

Funkyfresh is right,can't see the problem myself.
You should be more worried about them charging $125+ for Tiesto & Oakie,wtf are all these 'packages' about? I just can't get my head round the concept of having a buffet lunch and then seeing Tiesto
