HAHAHA Reppin my man "SS" the other half of Masi & Mello. They make a good team and their different styles blend to hit you with some SHIT, to keep you on the floor. I think a couple of the earlier tracks with the exception of one track I just didn't like, but other than that People have just been sleeping on these two! I'm Sayin they aren't gods and the best in the industry, but they got skills and it's a damn shame the music industry is the way it is. But....it pushes those who want to make it to try harder and those that can't make to get the hell out. For example, IMHO, The Afterworld should have caught on. About leaks, let me tell you something. I may not know much about house tracks and such, but how do you think people get full albums off the internet before they are released??? Think about that for a second. The artist gets fukked, but hmm....how come the record label doesn't seem to upset??? I'm down wit FukALabelExceptINDIES Productions. NAH MEAN! Anyway I'm pretty sure it works about the same for those bigger club rec comps as well. Shit I had the knew Eminem 2 months before it got released. And I have absolutely no connects. So while I hear some of you on the Artist getting paid. I fully understand, because I have a few friends in the music industry struggling to make it, and they NEED to get paid for all their stuff, but before you start ranting and raving about lists and pools, You need to take a look at the company releasing the track themselves.

There really wasn't much choice. I DJ (or use to before it died) Hip Hop and I don't care what shitty tables you buy and how great you are with tables, you aren't gettin and get scratch and mix combos off of any shitty tables. I don't care who you are. But like some of you are saying it's a matter of opinion. I wouldn't but if you can really hold off until you can afford techs I'd do that. If you know it's gonna be awhile and you're not going to be able to get a pair (new or used) Then get whatever. The main thing is to learn timing and blending Most of you here or house or techno or DNB (although there's lots of scratching in DNB) so that's why not getting the techs really isn't that important when you're starting out.

Its a waste of money and it gives you no experience on how to perform on real tables. Now it doesn't have to be techs but not those lil shitty ones. They'll just collect dust.

If I listen to the radio it's internet Radio baby! my favorite is groove monkey or funk monkey....some kind of monkeyradio or something. I haven't had time to listen to it lately though, but they play the stuff I like.

The problem here is that a lot of the people who post to this board are either dj's or producers who either have played or heard the song a million times and get tired of it. A summer anthem can't be a fresh new song. How could it be a summer anthem then? 9 times out of ten the Summer Anthem is the song by the end of the summer you're sick of it, but it still reminds you of the summer. Besides, I know like anyone else, no matter how much you dislike a song, when that chick with the nice fat ass and the big top comes up looking sexy as hell, and she says "Could you play 'Shiny Disco Balls' I LOVE that song!" You're gonna play it.

I hate buy crap at Rock N Soul. Records yeah, but so far every time i've bought some gear by the time I bring it home it craps out in like two days. And I get lazy and don't feel like draggin my ass all the way back to New York to complain.

I don't even bother listening to radio, that's all they do is kill songs. But that's their job that's what they are paid to do. Play the tired ass play list over and over and over and over and over and over....you get the point.
