Beginning Friday,Sep. 6 there will be a new Party at Red dedicated to quality underground music! The party is called "Ongaku" which is Japanese for Music. The d.j.'s for the events will be Stryke and Jimmy T! The event will be hosted by Substance Recordings and Boogaloo.

also if there is anyone who would like to submit a tape to get an opening d.j. slot at the party just bring the tape with you the night of the first events and give it to one of the substance staff!

Stryke has to be the man! He is the 2001 New Times D.J. of the year. Has tracks out on Hooj Choons, Ovum, Guidance, and Substance. And was one of the innovators of the South Florida dance music scene since back at the Edge. Everyone else is just playing catch up!

There will be an afterparty-pool party ths Sunday 7th at the Surfcomber Hotel on 17th and Collins!

It will be hosted by Gay Joy of Crobar and AJ from Substance Recordings.

D.J.'s include : Stryke, Gus, Juan Mejia, Cedric Gervais, Turtle, Sean Rudnick and Maurizio Ruggiero.

The party will be the first in a series of the "Elements" parties so come out and show your support!
