  1. Parking sucked but getting in didn't take too long! Caught Acosta's set and thought the begining was good. But then he thru in "she's like the wind" and than I asked my chic to slow dance. After that it snowballed...more old tunes but why? The guy has so many good records why not play them there? He did have a big crowd too. They come to see him but not to slow dance. :blown:

Of course Miamians are spoiled. The city does represent!!! This is the chosen city for the WMC. Our local DJ's, including yourself, get much respect worldwide. So we have become acustom to hearing various types of good quality music. Variety is key but the expectation here is that whatever style it is it should be the best.

  3. What makes Edgar unique is his versitility! He can throw down some seriously sick sets! And than a week later, he's making my chic wiggle all over the dance floor with some sexy vocals! And at any given time, he can change things up again with a good house set. He style has no limits. I congratulate him on his past, present and future successes! I am excited to hear his new songs. Thank you Edgar for expanding my musical horizons! Much love.

  4. Yeah, when it was on Power I heard some good sets by many of local guys. Welcome back! Try to use that time slot to bring good quality sets. The kind that this board is always crying for more of.

  5. My friend & her husband live there part of the year. They moved there cuz he plays baseball in a Korean league. They say it sucks. After living in Miami most of their lives & she worked in a couple clubs ion the Beach & downtown, they are desparate to return. There are no good clubs. They get their music from the internet. Get a good computer & connection line and hope time flies.

  7. 100% safe. Get someone who is clean to piss in a bottle. Dilute with alittle water. Put clean piss in squirt bottle (small visine or saline bottle is a perfect). Before your piss test warm in microwave for a few seconds (try to get it to 100 degrees). Put in nuts and pour into cup. That way you don't have to worry if those pills or drinks work. They've failed me before and this way has worked several times for me.

  8. The only team the Jets are going to be able to be beat this year is the National Taliban Camel Jockey Team...we'll see when you numb nuts come down to Miami to enjoy the best climate and scenery anywhere...the only way you guys will win is if you play yourself during halftime...so tea bag my nuts and for God sake...change the color of those nasty-ass green uniforms...remind me of the color of the Husdon river...

  9. First off, will you be my TranzWhore? J/K

Secondly, it's true the scene needs alittle expansion. Alot of those guys have been to Glow in DC and other NYC clubs. How can these guys not get invited to Miami? Can it be that DC pulls in these DJ's and not us? That's weak! I'm sure they'd much rather visit be playing in the M I A!

Club owners - make some phone calls!!!! These DJ's salaries will probably less than the super-star DJ's you keep bringing back!

Add Armin Van Burun and Lady Dana to that list!

  10. If your a trance lover than GO to Level on Saturday night. George is a good DJ when he wants to be. Hopefully he'll give a good performance on Saturday. He knows it'll be packed for the Labor Day weekend and that should hype his ego up enough to play hard. It's the only place you'll hear Trance on Saturdays!

  11. Edgar is a great DJ. His mixes are tight and he is there to please the crowd not his ego. Wear comfortable shoes and get ready to dance your ass off. He plays off the crowd's vibe. He interacts with them without going too overboard. He mixes trance, progessive house and techno up into what is always a great experience. Enjoy the journey! The motherfuckin' saga continues in NYC!

  12. You should have stuck around on Friday cuz I found Edgar's set to be very high engry. He uses such a good mix of trance, prog-house and some nice vocals. Stayed until they kicked us out. Had a great time. I knew it's hard to get through the first few hours before they start pickin' it up. He'll be back there in 2 weeks.
