  1. AD is pretty cool, but somewhat trendy. On alternating Saturday nights, they bring in some decent talent to spin. However, if you go on the wrong Saturday, you will find yourself in a Gay club, so make sure to verify which night it is. Club closes @ 2am. At 3:30 am on every Saturday, AD reopens as an afterhours club. Same shit as 2 hours before, except no more alcohol. All in all, AD is allriiiight. It would not be my first choice on a Saturday night, but I would check it out maybe once every few months.
  2. I was completely undecided going into college, but had a feel that Business was what I was interested in. I had received an award in High School for 'Accounting Student of the Year', so I decided that was as good a major as any in the business school. It took me 5 1/2 years, but I got my degree in Accounting and another in Management. I've been out of school for a bit over a 18 months now, and already been with 2 really HUGE companies. Accounting is not quite as enjoyable as I had hoped, but I've learned that it's the people you work with, not the work itself, that determines if you enjoy your job fully. My first job out of school sucked ass, the people were typical 'accountants'. All over 45 y/o, kids and families, absolutely no one I could relate to. Second job..... . Fun ppl and great atmosphere. I guess I would say I am happy with my career choice, but my long term goal is to become my own boss - own my own business. Business knowledge is the key to being successful in running a business, so in that sense I am satisfied. Work is work - it sucks no matter what you do.

I believe presale tix still available, $30 each. BUY THE PRESALE and avoid a 2+ hour wait in line! If your more into progressive and trance, check out PURE @ Sugar in Santa Monica - monthly resident Troy Roberts (spundae, SF) tears it up!! BTW, if you can make it up on 7/24..........Carl Cox will be @ spundae along with resident DJ Kazell! Should be an awesome show! As for afterhours clubs, I rarely go to them anymore so can't help you out too much.
  4. Hi everyone, This is my first post on this messageboard! I'm actually looking to help out a friend who will be in NYC in mid August. She is looking for some cool 18+ clubs to go to, but she's not really into electronic music (even though I'm trying to persuade her otherwise!). Anyone have any recommendations for 18+ clubs in NYC that aren't too touristy? Thanks so much! -Mark
