I didn't edit your post - I quoted the section of the email you posted saying it was going to be a special night. I was implying that if the word special is dropped at anytime it could be reason to label Friday a "special event", thereby forcing all attendees to "cough it up" - "it" meaning $$$. Looks like a fruity Long Island minus the gin . . . yummy! Long Island Iced Tea .5 oz. Vodka .5 oz. Light Rum .5 oz. Gin .5 oz. Light Tequila .5 oz. Triple Sec Cola Shake the booze with ice and strain into a tall glass. Fill the glass up with Cola. Can also be served over ice.

I would definitely consider at least a substantial throw-in for airfare - I'm serious about not wanting to bring my cats on a week-long cross country drive with motels and relatives' houses that have fleas and horrible children and god knows what. It would be traumatic. Let me know if anyone would consider it.
