  1. Mark EG is awesome - I saw him a few times during my early raving years in Toronto and really really loved his sets. He's hard techno/hard trance, really high energy. . kind of a rock n' roll show off (breaks records with his head, etc.) I'm pretty sure he was banned from North America for a while b/c of some sort of drunk incident (he's from the UK). I'd love to go see him again. . . it would take me back to my glory days *sniff*
  2. Yep I'm still up for it. . I don't get out 'til 6 tonight so I'll probably be there by 7-ish. When does everybody else want to get there?

  7. "Testimonial: Korean girls act bitchy to anyone they want! Korean girls shop ALL the time and don't even think twice about it. These chicks are so crazy and awesome that they buy Prada shoes ALL the time. I heard that there was this Korean girl who was eating at a diner. And when some dude dropped a spoon the Korean girl went clubbing with the whole town. My friend Brian said that he saw a Korean girl totally give a bitchy stare to some kid just because the kid opened a window. And that's what I call REAL Ultimate Power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you don't believe that Korean girls have REAL Ultimate Power you better get a life right now or they will get double eyelid surgery!!! It's an easy choice, if you ask me. Korean girls are sooooooooooo sweet that I want to crap my pants. I can't believe it sometimes, but I feel it inside my heart. These chicks are totally awesome and that's a fact. Korean girls are fast, smooth, cool, strong, trendy, and high-maintenance. I can't wait to start spending all my money on a Korean girl next year. I love Korean girls with all of my body (including my pee pee). Q and A:. Q: Why is everyone so obsessed about Korean girls? A: Korean girls are the ultimate paradox. On the one hand they are bitchy, but on the other hand, Korean girls are very sweet. Q: I heard that Korean girls are always pretty or sexy. What's their problem? A: Whoever told you that is a total liar. Just like other mammals, Korean girls can be pretty OR totally butt. Q: What do Korean girls do when they're not shopping or clubbing? A: Most of their free time is spent doing their makeup, but sometimes they dye their hair."

  10. The Disco Ball (alternate title: B-list celeb parade) Thursday, January 16 at 8 From abc.com: "Dust off the platform shoes, send the leisure suit to the cleaners and get ready to get down and funky, because ABC is throwing an all-star party celebrating that phenomenon called disco! This once-in-a-lifetime musical event was taped at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles — and the Shrine never looked so cool! The venerable venue was transformed into Club Shrine, the hottest nightspot in the country, featuring a disco built on platforms over one-third of the auditorium's downstairs seats, with three performance areas and balcony seating for an additional 3,500 people. And since The Disco Ball is NOT an awards show, the musical performances absolutely NEVER STOP. Legendary performers of the disco era, as well as some of today's biggest stars, will jump onto multiple stages and perform the classics that defined the disco era, including: * Whoopi Goldberg & Martha Wash — "It's Raining Men" * Gloria Gaynor — "I Will Survive" * Usher - "Ain't No Stopping Us Now" * The Village People — "Macho Man" & "YMCA" * Mya — "Turn the Beat Around" * KC & The Sunshine Band — "Shake Your Booty" & "Get Down Tonight" * Thelma Houston — "Don't Leave Me This Way" * Irene Cara — "Flashdance… What a Feeling" * Chic — "Le Freak" * Aaron Carter — "I Just Want to Be Your Everything" * Taylor Dayne — "I Love the Night Life" * Roselyn Sanchez — "Hot Stuff" * The Spinners — "Working My Way Back To You, Babe" * The Trammps featuring Earl Young — "Disco Inferno" * Nicki French — "Total Eclipse of the Heart" * Natural — featuring a "Saturday Night Fever" musical tribute — "Stayin' Alive," "How Deep is Your Love" & "You Should Be Dancing" — Wilmer Valderrama ("That '70s Show") makes a special dance appearance * The Pointer Sisters — "Jump" & "I'm So Excited" * Cheryl Lynn — "Got To Be Real" Adding spice to this already tangy event is a special disco fashion show, featuring some of the most outrageous models ever seen as they strut down the catwalk to the tune of "Dancing Queen." In addition, celebrities will be boogying to the beat during the celebration and introduce the performers, including Paula Abdul (American Idol), Brooke Burke (E!'s Rank), Cedric the Entertainer, Whoopi Goldberg, Ali Landry, George Lopez (George Lopez), Sara Rue (Less Than Perfect), Ryan Seacrest (American Idol), Wilmer Valderrama (That '70s Show) and writer/actor Bruce Vilanch."
