What changed? SF? Please, don't even get me started with that f-ing club! what a shame where it has gone... Jonathan used to turn it out like crazy, but i guess he's done too many drugs since that, which i have noticed, can completely ruin a Dj's style.

Twilo is old school I guess... but I'm not counting Jr and Fridays... I was going there when Danny Tenaglia (LOVE HIM) was spinning there, untill people started raving about this "hot dj, who's like Junior Jr named Jonathan Peters" at the New Sound Factory (winter 96-97) so we started going there on Fridays, and the Factory was awesome back then!! brand new space, Jonathan was amaizing, the Vibe was great! A perfect pre-Arena party . Honestly, I'm curious how it is now, I haven't really been there in almost 4 years, but I seriously doubt I'd enjoy it. Although I am curious, but i used to walk into that place like my home, untill the juice-heads took over, now I bet I wouldn't know a single person there. Oh well, I gotta stop thinking about the past so much lately... damn! PS USA and Limelight (Disco2000) was something completely different... that's a whole other subject

Oh, and the drissing part? I dunno, I can't even describe the outfits we wore to Arena, I was at Pat Field's and Hotel Venus evey friday evening... I dunno. once I come to think about it, it was pretty uncomfortable LOL. But there were more places to rst. But we'll see. I get goose bumps just thinking about. And Ms. Junior better not let us down, thats all I gotta say :) *night

Junior still plays factory classics... you just have to close, he plays them on sunday afternoons usually. He does play Arena stuff, but rarely. And by the way, I'm curious as to where the heck you got that list ? I have a few theories, but do you mind sharing?:)

Um dude? Didn't you reply something to my post about this the other day... like basically i asked the same thing? It might not be a good idea for you to go anywhere, I think your brain is begining to decay. I'm only joking sweetie, it's all just catching up to you, happens to the best of us. I do hope people will get a chance to go and see what die-hard arena fans were crying about for the past 5 years

Oh, and for the record (although its irrelevant) Palladium closed in September 1997, last saturday of August was Jr's birthday. sad sad day lol... people outside just standing around at 5:00pm on a sunday afternoon, just kinda refusing to leave the block... it was too funny...

Ok, so now I feel better... I went out a little before '96, but I couldn't really "go out" every night, I did have to get thru High School somehow. But once 96 hit, forget it...going out wed thru fri? Try going out Tue thru Sun :)Lets see... Tue- Life (the start of the week) Wed- System Thursday-Life (more trendy than tue) Fridays- Sound Factory (when the one on 46th first opened and Jonathan was actually worth listening to:D ) Saturdays-Arena at Palladium (the greatest party, everything-wise, everything was perfect, I must really say, it was one of the greatest experiences of my life.. too bad it only lasted a year) Sundays-Cafe Con Leche at Expo ( I do miss that club... and the party) I miss it being difficult (for most people) to get into the clubs, I miss the drama, I miss those anthems, when Junior was actually good and completely f-ed with your mind for 15 hours, I miss that gourgeous building, the bathroom downstairs, the couches on the main floor.. Alright, let me stop, I sound like an old hag at 22... Anyway, like I said I'm really looking forward to it, it won't be like a SF classics night, it is gonna be unbelievable, trust me...especially if you like good vocal house. Alright, I don't ever post here.. well, I did years ago, when this thing was still ClubNYC...but I was just curious, what do you people think about the Arena Classics Night Junior is doing at Earth September 1st? And I am also trying to determine by asking this question, how many "old school hard - core" clubbers are left posting on this...very curious. And feel free to share your memories of the party if you've been there ( or "lived" there like some of us did) ;)
