  8. wazzzzup guys!? Join us this Saturday as Bronzie is back in action behind the decks at Blue to drop the beats.... Fusion Clique Productions proudly presents CONCRETE PLAYGROUND, a party inviting the beats heard from the CONCRETE jungle underground of NYC. Hey it's where we started so why not bring it with us? Joining Bronzie behind the decks will be some very special guests from NYC and the Ukraine.... DJs Eddy Good (Ukraine) Serge aka JYD (Sullivan Room, NYC) Bogdan (Homegrown, NYC) and resident Ed Sullivan A night full of some great progressive, techy, electro house music to shake your ass non-stop. Hope some of you can make it out as I've invited the man not the myth behind the Sullivan Room magic in New York, Serge. Serge overseas and manages all promotions for DJs at the club. Sullivan Room won an award for Nightstalker at the International Dance Music Awards in 2005 beating out destinations such as Stereo in Montreal and Endup in San Francisco. He will be delivering a fresh set of beats from his new vinyl arsenal. Don't miss it! Blue 222 Espanola Way btwn. Washington and Collins 10pm-5am I will update you with the drinks specials later in the week but expect some good specials for you guys! Check out Eddy Good's bio: Music style - Groovy: Progressive House, Progressive Tech/Trance, Breaks, Deep House, House & Electro House Put his first record on the decks in 1986. Since 1991 Eddy Good became organizer and participant in plenty of club and large-scale projects, where he performs at the same deck with world famous DJ's, among wich: Angelo D'onorio Andy Redanka Armin van Buuren Bart van Wissen Breeder Bas & Ram Christopher Lawrence Circulation Dave Seaman David Piccioni Dimitri FA Damien Keane Diablo Echoman Erik-E Eddy de Clerq Faithless Fred Numf Flash Brothers Futureshock Grant Plant 100% Isis Hernan-Cattaneo Hybrid Johan Cyber Jean Kasey Taylor Lemon8 Leama Les Ryder Luke Chable Marco V Matthew Dekay Michel de Hey Montana Miss Djax Nick K Nikola Gala Olivier Lieb Paul Rogers Paul Thomas Pako & Frederik Per Perry O'Neil Remy Rene Amesz Ricky Stone Rulers of the Deep Sander Kleinenberg Silvio Ecomo Simon & Shaker 16 Bits Lolita's Spider Subsky Thomas Penton Tony Thomas The Scumfrog Tiesto XXX Flicks In 1996 he became a resident of the legendary Amsterdam nightclub Trance Buddha – the one of the first clubs with the brightly expressed trance concept. Eddy Good concerned himself with the music policy of Trance Buddha, appeared as an event manager getting Top-star names to and gladded clubbers with the new sets on the projects: * "Musical Evolution" – every Wednesday with DJ Diablo. * "Positive Energy" – every Thursday with DJ Astrid . * " Intelligence" – every Friday with DJ Edo . * " Reincarnation" – every Saturday with DJ's Bas & Ram and DJ Gino. By the range of these facts Eddy Good brought his name into the history of Dutch dance culture, for that it was exactly the time when clubbers have gotten their most avalanching emotional charge for the whole history of club's existence until 2000! With his profoundly mental vigorous sets Eddy Good didn't turn aside those of the famed Dutch clubs as: Aknathon Amuse AMP Studio Aroma Bolwerk Cobra De Hoeve De Kelder De Kade Escape Elf Fun Factory Hotel Arena Iduna Item Latido Lexicon Marcanti Mazzo Melkweg Nightflight Ode Pandora's box Paradiso Repetiehuis RKZ Rock it Rothaanhuis Salad Bowl The Palace The Temple The Zoo Trance Buddha Tunnel Vaaghuizen Vat '69 He used to perform at large-scale concept parties, held on the territory of the entire Netherlands: Mushroom (4.000) Hell Raiser (10.000) Eye on the future (4.000) I love trance (4.000) Healers (2.000) Trance nation (4.000) Multigroove (5.000) Virtual Environment (3.500) Earth Dance (1.000) Maximum (2.000) Big Bang (3.500) High Energy (4.500) Eddy Good offered exclusive sets on the world-wide known and legendary fests: Atlantis Festival (NL/5.000) Dance Valley (NL/60.000) FFWD Streetparade(NL/500.000) Freeze (NL/20.000) E-Kraina (UA/5000) Kazantip (UA/15.000) Legalise Streetparade (NL/100.000) Love parade (DE/1.500.000) New frontier (NL/40.000) Tochka Sborki (UA /12.000)
  9. I was spoiled by Arc, Spirit and Cielo in New York I guess so no I haven't got used to that. I enjoy a "clear" system over a "loud" system. I went strait from Carl Cox to Space that morning. The system in the main room blew it away. Not complaining at all, just saying the sound could be better. And yes, I do sound engineering for clubs, bars, hotels, theaters, etc. Most house DJs will tell you that they like a little rumble behind the decks and surely being on the dance floor I like to feel a little sumin' sumin' too....
  10. I thought it was pretty good. Carl played some good shit and had everyone going all night. Too bad it closes at 4, he was just getting warmed up. It was my first stop into Revolution and I thought the sound was a little weak. I understand they have bands play but I think it lacks a little rumble with the only bass coming from the front where the booth is. Oh yeah, did anyone see the dude who got popped just outside the entrance after they closed? Dude walked by me bleeding and shiz. Damn.
  11. scarletts baby! Music is always off the hook!
  12. After a bangin’ night at Blue last Saturday, we’re ready to do it up again with relentless beats to shake your ass to. Joining me from New York City, Pacha NY & Sullivan Room resident DJ’s Sleepy and Boo take over the helm of Blue’s wheels. Working under the Basic NYC promotional company, Sleepy and Boo are no newbie’s to the house music world. Night after night after night they book some of the top talented DJs of the world at the intimate setting of Sullivan Room as well as booking some of the best local talent NYC has to offer in the basement of Pacha NY. Not only that, they just played in the main room with Max Graham as well not showing any mercy in their quest for DJ stardom. Don’t miss this DJ couple as they bring the beats properly to South Beach. Since last week when Ed Sullivan warmed up the room correct, he’s returning to help me out with opening and closing sets. His mixed style of progressive to electro house will get your feet jittering early as the night is young and late when your feet say no more… www.myspace.com/basicnyc BASIC NYC - Sleepy & Boo sullivanroom.com info: fusionclique@gmail.com
