The dance remix of that song is insidiously bad. Too bad because I can imagine so many ways it could be better. I wish someone would take it and do a better remixing job.

The song with the original Russian lyrics (Y Soshla S Uma) is better (but at best only tolerable). It wasn't ~translated~ into English. It was *rewritten* (to some degree). The rewritten English version of "All the Things She Said" makes my ears bleed with all that unintelligible Pop-genre gibberish meant only to rhyme not make sense.

Tiny: I think it was "Nothing But You." I love that song. He ended his set, dropped this song as an encore, and then dropped one last song from his CD, "Politics From Dancing." Kewl. I was curious about what Goddess and Tantra were showcasing this WMC. Nothing that I want to see, but it's still good to know. I'm all about the Playboy gig.

don't expect to really kick it if you go to Shore Club and Sky Bar. It's owned by the Ian Shrager (of the Delano) so it's going to be more of a social drinks & what not gathering than a club atmosphere. Then again, I'm speculating because I've never been there, but my friend who manages the poolbar at the Delano describes the atmosphere at Shore Club and Sky Bar like that.

I thought you might say that... I just saw Opium's WMC lineup. Maybe I'll go there on Tuesday night for Satoshi Tomie. maaaaybe.

The only thing I've actually purchased a ticket for is Ultra V. Everything else is up in there. I'm going to go to the BUzzlife thing for sure too. I'm trying to stay away from Space just because I tend to go there out of habit and convenience, but who knows maybe I'll go anyways. Monday nothing Tuesday nothing yet Wednesday Buzzlife benefit @ Maze Thursday Judge Jules & Dave Ralph @ Level or do nothing tonight so I can party Fri & Sat Friday: I wanna see PVD; but I also want to save my energy for Ultra the next day. Pros: PVD (never disappoints). Cons: Space is ALways a cowpen when headliners are there. I haven't been to the new Space yet, but from what I hear, it's not that much bigger than the current Space. And I'd be too worn out to put out my best at Ultra the next day. Saturday: Ultra V Pros of seeing Deep Dish afterwards: walking distance from Ultra (no additional parking $$) Cons: last year's WMC afterparty set was lackluster. I hear S&D at the Arena was where I should've been. If you guys are planning on hitting Ultra, be aware that the D'Vox Nazis won't let you bring in any water or food so their vendors can really clean you out. Correction: no water, food, not even protein cans/shakes. I tried to say I was hypoglycemic (usually they get scared cuz they don't get what that means) but they understood and they didn't believe me. Oh well. I saw one guy who had one of those backbacks that has water pouch sewn in. They let him in, so I'm going to do that. The line for water bottles is enormous... I spent $40 on water, put it in my bag, only to have it stolen later. So if you're looking for PLUR.... it ain't at Ultra.

I haven't found anything else for Wed, unless someone was some suggestions (don't even mention the Tiesto/Oakie cowpen at Space; way too packed) By the way, what's everyone's itinerary for the week? Mon-Sat

Rain the first few day so Spring Break! That blows. I was going to go snorkeling in Key Largo and hit the sandbar in IslaMorada on Tuesday. Zoiks.

Within the last 8 months, Space increased its ticket prices to headlining events to $40-50 for parties with only one headlining DJ. So, I'm guessing that the prices for WMC individual parties is going to be about $50.

I'll be back for winter break around Dec 16th or so. I'm not sure how long I'll be up there though. I'm trying to find a good New Year party. I've never partied in Miami for New Years and since this is my last year down here I may go back to Miami early to party down here. But if I can find a good massive up in DC, Philly or NYC then I'll stay up there through New Years. We'll definitely hang out.

When is he going to be at Space? Tini -- I'm guessing that since you missed him at the Roxy you'll be going to see him at Glow?

You all keep an active board. Wow. Spinsaikel -- when was Whistle 4? The local13 boards were like full o kidz waiting for it but it never came around. I saw teaser flyers but nothing final. Anyways, yeah I hear the local13 crew shut down their site and gave up the party scene to promote at Shampoo in Philly because they can make more money off of a 21+ crowd with liquor cuts and all. Gina -- really? I didn't catch that...8) eggmok -- 8) hahahha vicman -- no I don't. I go to St Thomas in North Miami (I wish I went to U Miami -- their campus is really nice) Thanks for the big welcome everybody. I'll be up in DC again in December to visit my family, friends and to meet as many of you guys as I can.

Thanks heaps for the welcome! Ever since I was little, I've had shark dreams. LOTS of them actually, in various situations, but one of which was recurring about 4 times (which is pretty frequent). Anyways, the sharks in my dreams are invariably very dark -- black -- with lighter underbellies. The closest species in reality that resembles this is the Mako Shark (even though I know that the color of the sharks in my dreams is obviously metaphoric). So there you have it. I'll tell you guys about the recurring dream sometime since my friends (the superstitious ones) think that it's prophetic. I'm not the superstitious type.

I already know Gina. 8) 2 second bio: I was born in Miami, moved to Arlington at 9, grew up there, went to school at VCU, then moved back to Miami for law school in 2000 where I'm still finishing up. I'm a raver not a clubhead and so I tend to take Miami's posh club scene for granted. I'm, sure I'll probably miss it when I mmove back up north. But right now (and for the past 2 years for that matter) more than anything I miss the Northeast parties with the warm vibe.
