I think many times what is written on message boards is taken out of context, because neither specific emotions, nor emphasis in language can be clearly expressed all of the time. You are not talking to a person face to face, and lines get blurred. I do, however, think that free speech is an absolute necessity in an open forum. If you do not personally agree with someone's opinion about a certain subject, at least you are exposed to what you disagree with. Then, YOU always have a chance to respond, and express your own opinion. Live Free or Die.
