    Junior Vasquez Leads Anti-RAVE Act Protest (Washington DC Saturday 6)

    Legendary New York house DJ Junior Vasquez will be DJing at this weekend’s Anti-RAVE act protests in Washington, kicking off at 6pm in Upper Senate Park.

    D: Fuse, DJ Craze and Jesse Saunders are among other DJs supporting the event which is expected to draw thousands of club fans to the US capital.

    “The US Government has declared a War on Music, we are the target of busts, arrests, harassment and intimidation, all with the ultimate goal of destroying our culture and silencing the music we love,†event organisers ROAR point out on their website for the event.

    “The recently passed RAVE Act threatens to scare club owners and promoters into shutting down events nationwide for fear of imprisonment of up to 20 years and/or fines of $500,000. Even harsher laws sit in Congress right now,†they add.

    Invited speakers also expected to attend include top ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) campaigner Graham Boyd, Generation X author Douglas Rushkoff and presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich.

    It wouldn't surprise me if DT has complained about the new Space34, I heard he is a bit special with venues where he plays. The first time I went to see him in Arc in NYC I was looking for the bar to get a drink and found out they dont sell alcohol. I read a thread in the NYC message board mentioning that DT likes ARC because they dont sell alcohol. DT is an awesome DJ anyway, never dessapoints his crowd.

    If any of you make a trip to NYC, going to Fridays Be Yourself with DT @ ARC is worth anything.. great experience every time

    I am from NYC and we had a big group that went to Miami just for Ultra 5, I will like to review the great moments..

    Could anybody please let me know if there are videos available of ULTRA 5? either DVD or VHS ??? I was in the main stage for PVD and Tiesto and saw couple camara men recording the whole thing. Do you know where can I but this video?

  23. HELP - First Time in DC

    Could anyone please tell me what clubs will be kicking ass this coming weekend in DC. I am from NYC and I usually go to Arc and Centrofly. I am looking for a place with good sound system and a good crowd.

    Thanks for any recommendations
