  1. Hello everyone ..

If this thread does not make any sense to you then please move on .. otherwise .. read on ..

It seems that I messed up on this place .. and I hurt someone that was so close to my heart .. some one i loved with all my heart .. no matter what happened between us ..

I used to say that regardless of what other people do to you .. and regardless how they hurt you …. you should always be a better person … and forgive them ... and don’t fix a problem with another one .. but guess what .. I did the total opposite of that …. and so the result is that people saw me saying shit (coz I was hurt) ... and so assumed I am full of shit .. lunatic .. possessive .. threatening .. crazy … etc. etc. you name it ..

I guess my problem is that sometimes what I think of ... I just spill out … without thinking .. thinking that this a free forum and people do that .. well that was a mistake ..

Another problem I had was that .. I did put a lot of personal business on line without thinking .. acting on my emotions … another big mistake

And no matter what happened between us and who is right or wrong .. I believe I owe u an apology would like to say this:

KIM ... I am sorry I said shit on CP .. and sorry for all the stupid postings .. no matter what happened between us I had no right to post it on cp .. hope you can be happy in your life .. enjoy this place ..and all the clubbings you can have .. with all those wonderful friends you have ... who defend you .. regardless ..

AND TO MAKE EVEYRONE HAPPY I AM OFFICIALLY QUITTING THIS FORUM (CP) .. I WILL NEVER POST ON THIS FORUM ANYMORE .. THIS WAY I WONT POST SHIT . I WONT SAY SHIT . AND I WONT HEAR SHIT ..

If anyone wants to pm me .. for any comps I can help with or to say hi . or of course to curse me .. feel free to do so .. I might be reading my pms from time to time ..

Good luck everyone .. have fun postings …. and take care of yourself

    Peace

    The MASK

:laugh::laugh: Dude no one gives a flying fuck. What are you, in your thirties, wear a fucking mask on your head and post about your love life online. Pathetic. By the way, in your apology you forgot to apologize for being an immature psychopath. Spare me with this I'm leaving the board bullshit. That's the epitome of complete and utter lameness. No one gives a shit, the world nor the board rotate around you, you egomaniacal retard. Dont let the door hit you on the way out. :bounce:

  2. guess focusing on productions wasnt goin to well.

  3. There's nothing that pisses me off more than when I see a DJ tap-tempoing their CDJ's at a club to match beats...

Get over it lol. Like someone said, that feature is not perfect. It often will miscalculate the BPMs of a track, so there's always mixing or fine tuning involved. Anyway, beatmatching is one of the least common denominators as far as DJ'ing goes. Beatmatching is not that difficult. Programming/track selection/flow are much more important than beatmatching. You can have a great mixer with a crappy selection or you can have someone with great programming and a sub-par mixer. I'll take the latter any day.

And I have to disagree. I don't see CDs going anywhere for a long time. They (CDJs) are the Gold Star standard at clubs now along with the Technics 1200s. Lots of DJs are burning their entire collections to CD now. I really don't think the Technics CD players will take over the Pioneers. There are a number of issues with those tables that need to be resolved and more importantly, Pioneers are currently the DJ's (and nightclubs') #1 choice.

By the way, I use two Technics 1200s, 2 CDJ 1000s and I've dabbled with Ableton Live (where get this bassboy, you don't have to mix at all  ). I'm open to all these technologies, and any DJ who wants to stay on his game should keep an open mind about them too.

  4. http://nydailynews.com/front/story/284417p-243410c.html

Daily News article from today (2/25/05)

might have something to do with it.

I SERIOUSLY DOUBT the new owners of Sound Factory will even want to be remotely connected to JP. That's partially why Sound Factory was in trouble in the first place, the crowd JP was drawing. You can expect Erick Morillo to be there at least monthly, but don't count on JP to be anywhere near that building.

  5. I think it has to do less with him wanting to produce than it does having to do with (if all the posts I've seen on various messageboards are true) the owner of Spirit being impossible to work with, including not paying his people. That club has so much potential but with management like that, it will continue to be a disaster. The only thing that saves that club now is the occasional Made Events party.

  6. Vibe on friday.

DT on saturday. Hes gona drop his wmc shit. He will be better then usual.

Werd. DT's birthdays were always a blast. He looks at it as a big warm-up to the WMC, so expect him to be testing out some new bombs along with his 'new' track, DIBIZA, that will probably be one of the biggest tracks of the WMC.

  7. Be Yourslef, but

    No Smoking,

    No Cellphones,

    No Dancing a certain Way

    No "Not Dancing"

    No Pictures

the list goes on and on

First off smoking was banned by the city, not by Vinyl. Each violation of the smoking law was a potential fine for the club. No "not dancing"? Wow. Where do you people come up with this shit? Danny only imposed those rules at Vinyl where he was a weekly resident and Vinyl has been closed for a year, so why even bothering to bring it up now? Beat a dead horse much? He doesn't impose those rules at Cielo, Spirit, EnVy, Space, soon to be Crobar. Most of the regulars at Vinyl could really care less and no one I know who was there every week cared or were really affected by the rules. Vinyl was crowded regardless.

  8. thought Morillo was great, but not anywhere close to how he was in november. the p diddy thing was annoying. i stayed for the entire set and was sober the whole time. it was hard to get into any groove earlier in the night when it was rammed, but got much easier when the crowd lightened up. the closing hours especially the last hour were some of the best ive heard from morillo. it was a long set, and any long set is going to have its ups and downs, but he was on point for most of the night. ive never had a bad time at a morillo party. even if the music is not up to his usual standard, his parties are always fun.
