  1. Posting your email addresses on a public forum? I guess some you don't get enough spam as it is.

  3. Latest Reputation Received Good Bye Cp For Ever ..... 03-17-2005 12:57 PM Asshole. Dont say shit about the MASK, even when he is leaving. Go Fuck yourself. Admiror of the MASk. Hey Alan, you forgot to sign your name.
  4. Dude no one gives a flying fuck. What are you, in your thirties, wear a fucking mask on your head and post about your love life online. Pathetic. By the way, in your apology you forgot to apologize for being an immature psychopath. Spare me with this I'm leaving the board bullshit. That's the epitome of complete and utter lameness. No one gives a shit, the world nor the board rotate around you, you egomaniacal retard. Dont let the door hit you on the way out.
  5. Isn't it obvious NMN was fuckin around by saying SF was the house that JP built to start another long, retarded SF/JP thread? Some of you people are incredibly slow and predictable. Lemmings.
  6. Get over it lol. Like someone said, that feature is not perfect. It often will miscalculate the BPMs of a track, so there's always mixing or fine tuning involved. Anyway, beatmatching is one of the least common denominators as far as DJ'ing goes. Beatmatching is not that difficult. Programming/track selection/flow are much more important than beatmatching. You can have a great mixer with a crappy selection or you can have someone with great programming and a sub-par mixer. I'll take the latter any day. And I have to disagree. I don't see CDs going anywhere for a long time. They (CDJs) are the Gold Star standard at clubs now along with the Technics 1200s. Lots of DJs are burning their entire collections to CD now. I really don't think the Technics CD players will take over the Pioneers. There are a number of issues with those tables that need to be resolved and more importantly, Pioneers are currently the DJ's (and nightclubs') #1 choice. By the way, I use two Technics 1200s, 2 CDJ 1000s and I've dabbled with Ableton Live (where get this bassboy, you don't have to mix at all ). I'm open to all these technologies, and any DJ who wants to stay on his game should keep an open mind about them too.
  7. Dude, do yourself a favor and check out Sanchez. His residency is one of the better parties in this city right now.
  8. I SERIOUSLY DOUBT the new owners of Sound Factory will even want to be remotely connected to JP. That's partially why Sound Factory was in trouble in the first place, the crowd JP was drawing. You can expect Erick Morillo to be there at least monthly, but don't count on JP to be anywhere near that building.
  9. I think it has to do less with him wanting to produce than it does having to do with (if all the posts I've seen on various messageboards are true) the owner of Spirit being impossible to work with, including not paying his people. That club has so much potential but with management like that, it will continue to be a disaster. The only thing that saves that club now is the occasional Made Events party.
  10. Werd. DT's birthdays were always a blast. He looks at it as a big warm-up to the WMC, so expect him to be testing out some new bombs along with his 'new' track, DIBIZA, that will probably be one of the biggest tracks of the WMC.
  11. Props to the New York DJs (Danny Tenaglia, Erick Morillo, Jonathan Peters and Roger Sanchez) that were nominated for best American DJ, and to our own Crobar for being nominated best American club. http://207.150.221.101/wmc0affi/idma/ballot.asp
  12. First off smoking was banned by the city, not by Vinyl. Each violation of the smoking law was a potential fine for the club. No "not dancing"? Wow. Where do you people come up with this shit? Danny only imposed those rules at Vinyl where he was a weekly resident and Vinyl has been closed for a year, so why even bothering to bring it up now? Beat a dead horse much? He doesn't impose those rules at Cielo, Spirit, EnVy, Space, soon to be Crobar. Most of the regulars at Vinyl could really care less and no one I know who was there every week cared or were really affected by the rules. Vinyl was crowded regardless.
  13. This is worthy of a thread? Who fuckin cares?
  14. thought Morillo was great, but not anywhere close to how he was in november. the p diddy thing was annoying. i stayed for the entire set and was sober the whole time. it was hard to get into any groove earlier in the night when it was rammed, but got much easier when the crowd lightened up. the closing hours especially the last hour were some of the best ive heard from morillo. it was a long set, and any long set is going to have its ups and downs, but he was on point for most of the night. ive never had a bad time at a morillo party. even if the music is not up to his usual standard, his parties are always fun.
  15. it was one of the worst parties I've been to in the past year. no need to elaborate, it's been summed up pretty nicely in this thread already.
  16. I've seen these guys at Canal Room, at Vinyl, at the WMC and in Madrid. Honestly, they are two of the best on the planet. Everyone should go hear these guys, it will make you realize how most DJs you love seem mediocre next two these two heavyweights.
  17. Unbelievable night. Danny was on fire from open to close. WOW.
  18. This coming from a JP fan? JP is consistently pots n pans.
