Earth has been known to lower its door price at last minute if the club isn't as full as they expected. For gay pride they ended up lowering it cheaper than the advance ticket price!! As for the Red Party I am not going bcuz last year it was a simple $30 no reduced admissions that week. I don't know what the big deal about it this year is. There are begining to be too many events that have a special high price to them.

maybe with the city being so broke they will accept a nice sum of money in a fine. just being optimistic.....

they probably only going slow with opening the club to everyday. The neighborhood's community board and the police are watching that club very closely. They have to be closed by daybreak and keep the noise down. Its easier to prove themselves responsible with one party than to try to do it with three.

i remember a night at Earth...junior people handed glowsticks to us all on the stage to break at the same time and wave back and forth...red white and blue theme....not that much after 9/11... later on in the night someone threw a glowstick at Junior in the DJ booth. i guess the garages get expensive when junior is spinning for 24 hours! I parked in the garage once around the block and it ended up costing $35 from 7am-7pm 12 hours.

usually right in front of a meter on 11th ave. street parking is the cheapest....as long as u read the sign right.

we still have JUNIOR!! Loyal to NY, creates the NY Sound, has that diverse NY crowd. Other cities are missing that diversity that makes NY a unique place. He is unique with all his own mixes and music, evolves with the times still a Superstar after 15 years. There are places to go (Roxy Sat. nights, Estate, Sun. Nights, Earth, and Be Yourself, but it seems a lot of people on this board are homophobic. NY is recovering from the Guliani days of drug busts and shut downs. He knocked three legendary clubs out Tunnel, Limelight, and Twilo. With economic times low people can't go out without money. In the 90's when those clubs flourished it seemed everyone had money everyone had jobs in that DOT com economy. With terrorism, war, and bad economy its an overall tough time.
