Last year I went to Space during WMC '03 on Friday night to see PVD and it only cost me $40 for general admission. I didn't have space pass either. I don't understand why people are saying it costs like $100 to get into space for general admission. I was there at 10pm. Does the price increase the later you get to space? I heard it starts like at $30 if you arrive by 9pm and goes up from there. Any more info on this?

I'm thinking of either booking at the Carlton, Claremont, or Maxine. Anybody think which one of these would be a good place to stay?. I' found the Maxine for $86, Carlton for $99, and Claremont for $85.

I've found the Carlton for $99 a night..is that a decent place to stay.?..it's right there near 14th and Collins....Riande is still going for about $109..that's ok place..just need a place where it's decent and near the action..don't care to much for the plush rooms cuz not gonna be spending too much time there...Any more input would be appreciated.

Any ideas on the Maxine or Haddon Hall Hotel? Ocean Surf Hotel? Are these places better than the Riande Hotel? Any suggestions?

What are some of the best places to stay during the WMC in SOBE??? Last year we stayed at the Riande and this year I wanna try something new. Any good suggestions that are reasonable priced like around $100 a night or even less? How about any sites that offer deep discounts for hotels in SOBE? Any particular area I should be focusing on? Is Collins or Ocean Drive the best areas to stay? Please provide some feedback.

Which shuttle service should I look for once we get off the plane? Do I need to look into this before flying down there? Also that is $15 bux for each person correct? That is a pretty good price from Fort Lauderdale to SoBe. We are staying at the Riande..don't know if they offer any kind of shuttle service though...

Yup I booked my room by www.hotelriande.com...I got a confirmation number from their website..But I did call them the next day to confirm..They gave me a confirmation number from the hotel this time..so far so good...The website said they did a one night deposit, but my credit card wasn't charged yet...So I'm still kinda worried...I'll better call them up again to make sure my reservation is still there....

How much will be the cover for clubs like Space on friday for PVD, Opium Gardens on Thursday, etc..??? Any info from last year's events???

Does anybody know how much the super shuttle costs?? I went to their website and don't see fort lauderdale airport as one of the choices?? How much would it typically run for like 3 ppl? or do they charge as group or trip??

We are flying into Ft. Lauderdale and was wondering what's the best way to get to the hotel at Riande in SoBe? is a taxi too expensive?? Any public transportation going that way? Shuttles?? Any response would be helpful. Thanx.

OK..I just booked my room at the Riande too..good to know that there are others that are staying there too...We should try to do a meetup with members of this forum that are staying at the riande..we will be there from the 20th to 25th....it's gonna be great..

I need to book a place for the week of march 20-25...I've got my plane tix and now searching for a place to be near the action which won't cost a lot either..something up to $100 a night. Is the Riande a good place to book at? Seville?? Howard Johnson?? How far up collins st should I consider?? up to 4000?? Need something that is walking distance or short cab ride to like Space and the rest of the nightlife? Also my friends and I are flying into Fort Lauderdale and I was wondering what would be the cheapest way to get down to miami beach to our hotel? Taxi?? Bus?? Shuttles??
