I read somewhere that Steve Lawler, James Holden, Jodi Wisternoff, Lexicon Ave, and Scumfrog were some of the dj's that will be at Maze on Friday.

Has anyone heard? I saw him in Chicago a few weekends ago mixing some tracks off his new GU disk and it was bad-a$$. I really hope he makes it down this year

i agree that you should definately stay away from white star...the best scenes in chicago right now to dance are at rednofive( the remodeling makes it 10X better), zentra, transit, and visions (only if a good dj comes..gets a little shady late in the night if not). Another place that has good music, a nice vibe, but little room to dance would be Sugar...which is a dessert-lounge downtown. Narcisse is only ok if you are in the VIP lounge from my experience...but i haven't been there for a few years now.

I'm also excited for Sound-bar to open, but i'm losing hope since it was supposed to open 3 months ago and haven't heard anything since. does anyone know what's going on with that?

I'm pretty sure that cox showed up unexpectingly at Space for Danny T last WMC, I couldn't believe my eyes when I walked right past him. He may have played at a smaller venue earlier in the evening, but I can't recall which one.

The three night/mornings to be at Space this year are Tuesday,Thursday, and Saturday for sure...as long as it's official that Dave Seaman will be with Sasha and Digweed. Saeed and Palash should take over next year instead of lame-a$$ Picotto or Tiesto i hope..
