  1. sorry Joe thats kinda un-related to what Im saying Zabiela was hyped up with Sasha, alot more people knew he was than they did Tyler and Crobar is well established and dont have any problems with the place emptying out in 10 minutes with anyone they have playing no matter how bad. Tyler tried to resume where sammy left off obviously it was a difficult task. And the so called breaks that he was playing were merely quircky tunes that were going no where especialy Herbie Hancock's Rockit which BTW when I heard that song in the club I knew there was a problem hope I gave you a little better idea of the night
  2. Final words while I try to put this thread to rest . my final conclusion is that while modernism and whoever else had good intentions and the connections to bring Tyler down. They should of really thought this out . Since when has a house dj that is fairly un-known to many with the exception of myself and a few other educated househeads been able to pack a club as large as MAZE. I mean most of the people there that night didnt know who the fuck Tyler was. I mean it would of worked alot better at Aquabooty at least that crowd are more receptive to hearing different forms of house and.... its a smaller more intimate VIBEY space. I mean if your going to bring somebody more on the house tip to MAZE's main room you would probably have done better with someone like Eric Morillo for example. Tyler's is a dj that is better heard intimately with others that can appreciate him, at least in Miami. On another note I think Demi(Deeper Substance) could of pulled it off better even coming on after Sammy's banging set. Of course they are different but both, for the most part un-known to many in Miami. Hopefully, Maze can get the formula right
  3. it just ocurred to me the other day that I hadnt heard of Sage Molotov I was an aquantance of hers and havent heard of her or seen her in a while . She spins house and used to spin at a couple places if anyone knows of her whereabouts let me know and/or if she is doing ok
  4. Tyler Stadius cleared the place! several reasons why the night didnt go as everyone expected : guy b4 him banged it out too hard, people are used to hearing prog, or tribal , I think Tyler is more suited to play a a smaller room it might have gone better if the guy playing at LIMEBAR would of opened up for him. Miami still has a long way to go as far as diversifying its tastes. Just goes to show you anyone playing at FABRIC will not always get a warm welcome here. Sure there were people there that specifically came for him and had a good time but the majority got got bored and went some where else
  5. yeah, someone e-mailed me the web site though it doesnt say much. www.thebeachniteclub.com
  6. Yeah I've been an avid rewind supporter for the last two weeks! REWIND is totally bitchin! 3 dollar drinks Flock of Seagulls, Siouxsie,ABC,and even a dash of Miss Kitten for good measure. and....... beautiful lime green couches! :rainbow: :rainbow:
  7. this truly is a lineup that is not to be missed! anyone that has truly been following the prog/breaks scene knows about infusion. they are the hottest remixing/live pa team at the moment as well as Hybrid which never diss-appoint, Jonathan Lisle who is getting alot of respect from among others Sasha and Digweed for his seamless, melodic, story-telling mixing! Demi (Deeper Substance) which has blown shit up every time he's been here! Trendroid, rui Da Silva, Austin leeds, Marcello Castelli, Steve Gerard and others what else could you as for! thanx Josh!
  8. hmmmm good idea I think I will build my own club, put in my own sound system and I'll play and choose who ever the fuck I want to play and weed out you self-rightous bastards that think evrything is so plur so there
  9. didnt mean to take this thread in another direction but couldnt take it any longer I constantly see this "Saleen" character going off on other dj's and other parties like he's the fucking authority on music and clubbing anyone that is a little more knowledgable and shall I say discriminating would choose Rui Da Silva over Oscar G ( aside from the fact that (RDS) is a great producer and doesnt play here very often) and yes, maybe I am being a little harsh on Mr. Gaetan but he does not do it for me and alot of other people that I know. Everyone has a preference and everyone is different but it seems to me that alot of or most of the people that go to Space are fucking droids and arent very open minded (case in point) Dj Three and Mr. C this Friday. Out of every set I heard last year which includes Sander K, Satoshie,Sasha Lawler and many others, the set which I enjoyed the most was Mr C playing at Living room to a small handful of people. Everyone wants to go see the huge names and thats fine but alot of good talent gets overlooked especially in Space. I guess its better that way I would rather go hear someone like Mr C and Three play anywhere else but Space........ nuff said
  10. cheezy fucking flyer who the fuck wants to see Oscar G, that guy is way over-rated, Miami is the only place you could have a dj like that as a resident Go get a fucking life and book better dj's you fucking loser
