That sucks place is really one of the best spots in sobe, beautiful place with great looking women. Only wish they brought in great djs more often. Well hopefully that thing doesn't pass and place gets to kick up the sound even louder.

You gotta respect saleen's opinion on the club as everyone's allowed to their opinion and while I will agree on the booth in the middle of the club being a great idea, it could also not work. A big part of the dj's interaction with the club is looking at his audience and how it reacts to the music the dj plays, if your in the middle of the room you can only see part of the reaction at any given time. As for the lighting, I'm one of those people that at the same time I love the dark cause I can't dance for crap and get away with doing it not looking too stupid, but at same time I like lighting as I get to see the women's faces better so I don't end up checking out somebody I would normally not. Sound wise, the new space is loud, I'm no sound expert and can't comment on details and how it sounds in different areas of the club, all I can say about it is I enjoy the music wherever I am on the dancefloor and the sound seems pretty good enough to me. Music wise yeah last time I went heard let's get ill played like two to three times, but it's a huge song and unless you somebody that likes to move back and forth between the main room and the terrace and are there early in the night to the morning you will probably only hear it once. All in all, I loved the old space and the new 34 is impressive and though while I'm amazed by it I still don't feel the connection to the place yet (sounds weird to say when talking about a club). That's always how I am though when a club is new and I just need to get used to the place, so I'm sure after two more visits to 34 will feel like home.

that is hilarious man. Listen to music while shooting your machine gun??? Seriously having an mp3 look like that only sounds good for about 5 seconds to me cause most the time I'm listening to my current mp3 player I'm on an airplane and if i take this thing with me to the airport, its gonna be really hard explaining what the hell it is to security.

Anybody been there on sundays for the grad party? How is there, what times to go, and how is the music? Looking for something to do on a sunday besides nicky's.

Damn this board has gotten so dramatic these past couple of weeks. So much arguements whether it be with timeslots of djs or just within cp members, all in all funny reads as long as its not against me. But really spread the love.

Damn no love from guyman to sandycheeks:laugh: Sandy opium should be cool and mynt u will have fun getting inside if you not the sensitive type that does not like waiting at all. I love passsing by mynt before going out, get to see pretty faces and hear all kinds of funny stuff ranging from I'm enrique's little brother or the people who get mad the bouncers don't know who they are and telling them they will regret making them wait. Always fun outside that door but once inside, music is a bit dated and its more of a table club not really party type to me. Trust me though maze is the place 2 be on friday nights, sometimes nerve but a guaranteed good friday night at maze as of late.

Sandy guess it's been a while since u been to maze then, friday nights at maze are great and it is cerntainly not dead. GO there 2nite, you'll see for yourself and I'm sure u will have a good time.

I don't see how this can go wrong, both ralph and jon great djs and will give us amazing music. I don't care who is on at what time as long as the music is good, but i'll agree with rain on one point it would be great to have jon and ralph playing together for a while. And you all cursing each other out for this stuff is just plain stupid.

Whats going on tonight besides thievery corporation, I know after a while I will want to hit another party and from what I heard opium is having penthouse party and crobar a bunny ball which I have no idea what that is, so if anybody knows shed some light. SPace is always a good bet for a party, but tonight want to get home around 5 and if I go to space will not leave till later.

I don't think nerve is acota's type of place to play, nothing against nerve its just acosta seems to only play at huge clubs such as spi,space,crobar,maze. Nerve is more for the intimate sound which I don't think acosta fits the profile for.

probably just a rumor but i've heard next one after deep dish could be sasha in peru. And i agree with the fact that gu is usually for upcoming club cities, but there are exceptions like ibiza, san fran, new york. Miami is one of the places that need one and I'm sure it is on the top three of the gu guys list of places to have the next gu.
