the name STUDIO 4 was registered alomost 2 years ago.
And I think you should also know that if that club in woodbridge does open (and i wish them the best of luck) they will not be able to use that name.
Someone else owns that name in jersey...............check with a tradmark/copyrite lawyer.

A deal that took place almost 2 years ago, then was shelved, and , THANK GOD, has been brought back to life and is complete...final...done.

Was a former television studio way back in the day(hence the name)
10,000 SQUARE FEET
20 FOOT CEILINGS
NO COLUMS
will be the ONLY venue in N. jersey located on a state highway (no side streets)
and located in one of nj most $$$ prestigious towns $$$....fort lee nj
open till 3am.
Because of RIDICUELOUS amount of what we call "copy cat" details,events, themes, formats etc. that continues to go on (which IMO is the REAL problem with nightlife today) i wont be able to give as much detail about the VENUE and what we have planned as i would have like to. All i will say , just as we did 6 years ago when ML first opened, it will be the beginning of an

IN NIGHTLIFE!!!!!

)As much as we all loved metro,it is gone,that era will ALWYAYS be an amazing memory for us. This is NOT the new "metro",And we dont want it to be. But it is our HOPES and DREAMS for it to have the same impact, and effect on the tri-state area, and make as MANY memories as Metro did in the 6 years it was open.It is my HONEST opinion that this will have a BIGGER impact than even metro....
and this ENTIRE new venue is being created....

We now refer to that music as "retrometro" music and because of that music, it has become the most copied event in nitelife today. The residents of Metro Lounge were absolutly the FIRST to introduce this music to new jersey

Former resident dj of Metro Lounge........Alex had gone on to produce CRAZY,CRAZY music (amazing work) in the U.S. and even overseas,and some of his songs can be heard on STEVE LAWLERS compilation cds.yOU HEAR ALOT OF HIS MUSIC BEING PLAYED IN CLUBS ALL OVER AND DONT EVEN REALISE IT IS HIS.
Anthony Devito
Former Resident dj of Metro Lounge......also went on to producing music and has also opened on Many occations for DANNY TENAGLIA. Was also former resident dj at TEMPTATIONS.
Nickey Sibilia
Former Resident dj Metro Lounge.....Probalbly the busiest dj the business.Owning 2 record stores and Z-BASS sound and lighting. (you can thank him for the equipment you see and hear @merge). Nickey is the resident dj currently at Headliners and also fridays @Circa. And does guest spots all over.

And he will be the resident dj of our BRAND NEW CLUB open this september that will mark the beginning of a new era in nitElife as we did 6 years ago with ML.EVERYONE loves richie.all playing together for the first time ever under one roof......SUNDAY JULY 4TH @MERGE!
