*btw... i hate mc's. they're simply not that important.* I'm takin it upon myself to represent a undoubtable majority of junglists in the UK in sayin that MC's are essential to a night. Fair play, not every1 has to like em, but to say that they're not important is one of the most uneducated things you could say about jungle. They've been there from day 1, they're the link between DJ and crowd, chattin on the rises, hypin up the drops and generally electrocuting the crowd. Addmittedly there aren't many things more annoying than a whack MC who thinks he's the don (but that'd be your fault for choosin to go to a snide night), but havin some1 like Fatman D, Eksman, Fearless or The Ragga Twins host a night is what makes a night! Unless you've heard Skiba n Shabba back to back you dun know what MCin can do to a crowd! I dun know how well respected and appreciated they are on the whole in the States, but I can imagine that peeps don't really understand what they're chattin bout some of the time which may be a negative thing for you cats. I imagine the scene in the states must be well different to how its grown and developed over here in Britain, but maybe you lot just haven't got MCin dialled for your selves? I don't know. (To be honest I've never heard a decent jungle MC from anywhere outside Britain). Anyways, I think I'm done. I'm not dissin you here, just felt I had to comment on your loose, generalized statement.
