    SATURDAY NOVEMBER 27th - Thanksgiving

    Weekend

    Departures-Nov04_Front.jpg

"Since 1998, every single event held by FUEL at Cafe Lura

    has been unique in that

the vibe we create is 100% unmatched by anything in Chicago.

FUEL's is the original club night at Cafe Lura which started in 1998.

Before then, no DJs performed there and we have set the standard

right from the get go. If you want to feel, hear, and see how it's done

    in

many of the smaller UK clubs, that raw underground party experience -

    come and check it out.

When we say raw, we strictly mean the overall approach to the party

where the music is at the forefront of the night.

We will, again, deck it out with top notch FUEL Ultra Heavy Sound

System (powered by Turbosound TM) in both rooms,

intelligent lighting and visuals mixed live.

And we mean top notch production, not just two turntables and a couple

    of noisemaker boxes.

Don't forget, relaxed dress code, reasonable drink prices, and total

    freedom of expression.

If you like it dark and loud this one's for you. Ask around."

A proven lineup of FUEL resident DJs and guests deliver Prog, Tech,

Tribal House, and Breaks as well as some Techno in two separate rooms:

    This Thursday November 4th

    Front.jpg

Following last week's launch we are now comfortably at

cruising altitude. It's difficult to describe the vibe of the night but

perhaps some photos (below) will help. We know that those of you who

attended, loved it. For an opening night, with Halloween weekend right

behind, close to two hundred people is very respectable. The projections

were off the hook and you have to see Bankok in action live, as he totally

phases off getting deeply into the music while mixing the visuals. And

of course, your local quality DJs delivered delicious beats, perfect

for that "in-flight snacking". Hear it on this sound system. It's

    amazing.
