out of those who replied, are you djing for entertainment value or trying to make a career?
I believe it always starts as entertainment and then grows as a challenge.. i think anyone who has been spinnin for a while that has the hang of it and is confident in themselves dreams that they could make a career out of djing.. there is nothing like being in front of a crowd making them jump up and down and feelin like ur in total control with every tune u drop.. so to answer the question yes and yes if possible.. if a career could blossom from a bedroom dj who is really into his music then that would be the most amazing thing..

thats pretty sick.. for a guy like sasha whos been djing forever its only normal for him to take things to another level now with new equip and new controllers and such.. i guess he was getting bored of doing the same thing week in and week out.. u know what they say, variety is the spice of life so the more new toys that come out the more he can experiment and keep him on top of his game.. it also makes other djs want to step it up as to not be left behind wit the direction that live club music can go into

i use vinyl when im spinnin at my crib.. at my boys crib he sold his tables a while ago and i use cds there but he is gonna get a new set of tables soon since he has a ton of vinyl.. at my other boys crib he has tables and a duel cd deck so i can use both there.. i have mixed on pioneer 500, 600, the rane mixer and ive used a variety of cd mixers so to me its just fun being able to use all the diff equip out there and getting the same sound i want..
i dont mind usin cds sometiems cuz some tracks are just impossible to find and i have friends that get some unreleased promos that have to be burned to cd cuz there is no other way to play them but i dont see cds taking over the way i spin cuz vinyl is always gonna be the way that i roll.. i can do em both but there is nothing like the crisp sound of a vinyl..
