    Halloween?

Halloween @ the bulldog lounge, Ft Lauderdale. Theme - TBA DJ's Jason Wiggill & Chris Reiss By far some of the funkiest house in Ft Lauderdale. http://www.laidbackluc.com/laid_back_luc/ http://www.bulldogloungeflorida.com/ My first confirmed gig :D
  4. think ill have to pay them a visit. I have only found 1 record store locally (Ft Lauderdale) which is karma records & only seems to cater for the harder side of music. personally, i love tribal/funky/jazzy house which I have trouble finding a good source for. have been relying on online stores across the globe but the shipping costs cut deeply into my budget. here's a great store for house music in my home town of Manchester UK. - http://www.bluevinyluk.com/main.asp 1 thing i will mention that is vital to me for ordering the right tracks is the length of samples that they provide. allot seem to be lacking in this department, often just hearing the high lights of a track to find that the rest is a dissapointment when you finally get it delivered. im sure many Vinyl based businesses are not quite as lucrative as they used to be & all the nice features on their websites do cost money. respect to anyone keeping us DJ's supplied & vinyl alive. for how long, is anyones guess. peace Chris Reiss
  5. now thats service - within 1 hour of posting my concerns, they have signed up at CP & addressed them !! nice work guys (or girls) now to work on the discount :D
  6. just did a little zooming in on the Technics decks - it looks like SL DZ1200 direct drive digital turntable
  7. not sure of the model number (try zooming in) but i know they are just out & retail for about $1k each do a search online im sure you can find em. If you buy a pair, i want an invite to try them out
  8. thanks for the tips guys just ordered from subversion, they have a decent selection. though the web site was very slow (even on my DSL) & the page for entering your personal info wasn't HTTPS, which gives me concern for my security. peace Chris Reiss

  13. aruba. commercial pier. Lauderdale by the sea. and anywhere along that strip is pretty nice.
  14. great idea. if anything - a stranger is a friend you havent met yet beats inviting everyone to my house to sample my cooking skills 1 suggestion. there is a great little bar on 16th & Alton (S.beach) called Abby. they sell minimal food but the drinks are the best in Miami by far. its open till 5am & is usually quiet.

    just me
  16. I was just wondering if anyone has actually hooked up through CP? it seems an obvious place as 1. you share at least one common interest - clubbing/music. 2. people have profiles with info & sometimes pictures. 3. you can get to know a little about the person by what they write in the message boards. 4. PM'ing is a simple & safe way of making contact. I personally have found Florida an extremely difficult place to 'hook up'. being from England, im used to a woman making it a little easier to know if she's actually interested or not, where as American women seem to require allot more work. something im going to have to get used to i guess as i like the area and have met allot of really nice people. plus, being 32, most of my friends here are either married, on their way to being married or serioulsy dating peace Chris Reiss
