  10. sup fellas, Everyone has a good point but these guys that are up and coming dj/producers are just trying to become one of those 100 top djs I'm saying this cause I'm one of them . I love the music!!!! I'll be spinning at spirit this friday and hope to do the nyc scene some justice .I dont expect everyone to love what I play but I'm gonna play what I play and try and rock the house.
  11. Whats up people >? well this is the deal ... I'll be dropping some funky house w/ a twist of tech house @ Spirit- Friday Oct 29th heres the flyer w/ info if you need to get on the list email me ********@aol.com or just sign up on www.********.com <--they probably wont let you read that so its the same as my email address but with a .com at the end
  12. You spin for more people in one night then most of of us do in a month ? who are you tiesto? there's no reason to go back and fourth about this!you just want to make money and play commercial cheeeeeeeeeese where we will make money and play what other dj's will be playing 6 months later.
  13. c'mon buddy that is non intelligent statment if I ever read one. yes it is 2004 but there was alot of music that came out that is still being rocked in clubs ex-professional widow, music feels better , you dont know me, the list can go on and on... now hip hop -I got it made, mona lisa,my adidas etc.... And when I stated about tracks you cant get I wasnt speaking about old track I was refering to tracks that the independent artist makes that wont make it big because their dist wasnt done right or there promotions didnt do the right job to get it out there. There is so much music out there that I play and people like and IS NOT KTU FORMAT . If the music isnt good the girls wont go there. Thats a fact! Plus there is music that you can download or get from certain places that will hit the radio in 3 months but you can be playing them before they get played out on the radio and every other dj jumping on the COMMERCIAL BANDWAGON.
  14. Well..... I agree that there is a warmer sound when it comes to vinyl .I Personally tried to use cd's also and bought myself a pair of cdj 800's however I couldnt get used to the feel and wasnt anything like using a turntable so I no longer own them. Now i'm going a different route and using "final scratch " this requires me to use a laptop as my music library and still lets me use the turntables. I think the technology is great and still allows a dj to work a table in the same way as if he had vinyl record on there. Do you think that using a laptop like this is taking away from "the art of djing? "

  16. agreed ---you cant just scratch on a cd player and expect it to sound right! You still need to know how to scratch. Granted I do think it makes it a little easier but it doesnt do it for you/\.
  17. Yeah but dont worry he was'nt harmed in the process
