I dont want to sound like a smart ass or a pessamist but you can change the club but not the clubbers.
The US has some of the best clubbers in the world, so did NYC up until 5 years ago. Since then drug use has tipped the scale and the true music lovers are getting pushed to the side while the velvet rope is being opened for the people with lots of green and little understanding of the scene and our culture. Things need to go undreground again and built from within.

average night about $100 give or take & expensive/crazier nights $150-200 max, imo
i wish i had ur problem, my nights usually end up a grand or more down the drain.....especially when Carmine tags along with me

first hand i think most electro releases overall suck....they sounds more like a keyboard being banged against a wall
also it feels like the NEWBIES in the scene today promote electro over anything else.

GREAT WEATHER AND SOUND, IT WAS SO MUCH BETTER THIS YEAR. GOOD CROWD.
1. david waxman, great opening set. i forget how good he can be when hes not in crobar.
2. junkie xl, good tunes and so into it as always.
3. benny b, great disco funk, solid set.
4. soul, intersesting and fun. great bass player and drummer.
5. moby, 5 stars, felt like it was 1995 again. guy needs to play out more.
6. diggers, to dark for my taste. also moby should have closed. not a set to close with. great skills though. like him circa 2000.

werd that would be awesome.....i myself am sick of all the things u mentioned at clubs.....
i was at duvet on sat night for a friend's going away party and experienced everything u mentioned....and some. this dude spilled MY $14 drink all over me by flailing his arms around and didn't apologize for shit.....then his friend comes up to me and says, "the least u can do is apologize, for getting a drink on my jeans" with a huge smirk on her face....ehhh go back to the B AND T u came from, not even sure if she was 21.........lol.
anyways im waiting for a party like the one u mentioned, sometimes they exist at the smaller places, which im more fond of lately, i can't stand the drama anymore and want to just go out for the music, atmosphere, and to relax and/or dance.
yea i agree, there is a lot of ingnorant fucks out there......simply put "no class people"

I'm not saying he doesn't have fans, I was just commenting to monglesnj's post saying Exacta is bigger in Europe than any other local jock. DT's nights at We Love Sunday's in Ibiza draws in excess of 10,000 people when he spins. Morillo has his own weekly Subliminal party @ Pacha in Ibiza. At this point in time Exacta just doesn't operate on that level. To think he does is foolish... Maybe in 5 or 10 years if he really blows up...
i agree, from what i heard from people at compulsive, he concentrates most of his promotion for european music market

Actually Exacta is already bigger in Europe than here. His music is played all over Ibiza and he just played Godskitchen and got insane reviews.
Pride was massive for him and was all over Radio 1. More people know Exacta overseas than any other local guy here.
Exacta gets no where near exposure in europe as deep dish or morillo do.
But at the same time u cant compare them cause the production behind subliminal or deep dish is huge compared to exacta.
