I want to start this promotion off by saying.....THANKS!! for all the support. I am truly blessed to have cool people in my life at this time, and it is with all sincerity I would like for everyone to know that you are greatly appreciated. Friday April 29th Session: DJ KARIZMA (opening set Andre Soul) Well its not cool to toot your own horn so I wont...I'll just share with you some of the responses that i received from the people who attended and I'll let you summarize the rest. During my set I played 12 songs that I'm intending to use for my very first mix CD entitled - Andre Soul: 12 Disciples. I've been practicing my blending and for the most part the crowd enjoyed my selection, some even came to the DJ booth with a smile indicating when they liked a song...that was cool to me...after wards I also received pats-on-the-back from people who attended just to see karizma...but the true honor came when Karizma said to me " Man, I thought you said you weren't a DJ"........WOW! Now everyone who knows me, knows that i don't consider myself a DJ. I consider myself a "music selector"....but Kariz....was like "Andre you are a DJ!"....that was cool to me! Karizma rocked the place....His mixing ability, music selection, looping of phrases just everything was so on point that it was ridiculous! This man is truly a Master of Music, coupled with as very humble spirit.... WE ENJOYED HIM AND HIS ARTISTRY TREMENDOUSLY!! I can only sympathize for those who missed this event...because I hear things about what Miami Is missing as far as house music, spirit and vibe are concerned. Well we gave Miami a doze and those who were in attendance received a doze from Karizma....Visit his website @ www.kohesivemusic.com to follow up on him and his productions.
