    big loss to the nj scene....kind of fell apart since

    I loved Hunka Bunka, spent allot of great nights there...

    But one question....

    The club was a success on how it was run and of course because of the people...the Customers....Right???

    We loved the place soo much. Why didnt they give something back to the loyal customers and have a closing party? I am bitter towards the owners for doing that....

    I guess they didnt care about "us".... Please explain this to me.. Just not fair......

    this board was always negative with a shitload of drama......read all the old posts and you'll see...........thats what made this board fun!!!!!

    Youre right it was always negative...."But" then it was fun to read.... I would log on mondays and there would be sooo much drama about the weekends... What happened, who was were, reviews...etc... All the funny drunk stories.. You know what I mean? If you wanted the scoop, you would check here first... hahaha

    Now its the same bullshit over and over again... People need to move onto new subjects.... I hate reading about the same shit over and over again...

    I'm bored... lol :zzz:

    People should go back 4 years or so and read the posts then.... :)

    listen to me you fucken moron. THE CLUB IS SETUP HORIBLE!!! even with the extra speakers the sound was disgusting!!! I am a house music lover it pained me to hear shit in your stupid club. You should have stayed in the army or whatever, I sifted through your mile long fucken post. I called it how it is u dont like it suck my fucken dick you fucken mutant

    Here's a big difference between Spirit and Crobar:

    In Spirit, the bouncers make everyone feel like a friggin' criminal. They go around flashing their flashlights and yell at people for no fucking reason. I went there for the first time a few months ago and I think I sat down where I wasn't supposed to because the bouncer flashed his light at my face and yelled "MOVE!!!!" at the top of his lungs.

    In Crobar, the bouncers make you feel like welcomed patrons. If you stand or sit in the wrong place, they let you know that you need to move along in a courteous way. After a few times there, I knew where I could and could not take a rest from dancing and I never did it again. Now all I get at Crobar is a good vibe from not only its patrons but also its staff.

    It's amazing how much vibe a club's staff can create.

    I very much agree with you. The staff at Crobar are very polite.... :)

    JP was off the hook tonight. Just got home. Thought they closed at 3 am...but the crowd got their encore. He was really good tonight for playing such a shot set. Well worth my 18 bucks. Glad to see he played some old classics...especially Suede' "And everything will flow"...what a fcuken killer remix. I loved that song. It was a good crowd....was in VIP all night with everyone I knew from the Sound Factory back in the day....and everyone was in swing. It was a great fcuken time....really awesome. Glad I went. And the girls bathroom was not that long of a wait....they need to have him back on a Saturday night, though. Love u JP!!!! Damn...so many memories........=0)

    Yeah, the town of Woodbridge has a 2am closing of all bars and clubs during the weekdays...

    During the weekends they close at 3am.... Much better... :)

    no disrespect to you but if you dont the answer to this then you are a fuckin idiot...it's called 'municipal ordinance' - a law that the town leaders set whether its what day they are gonna pick up the garbage to what time a club/bar closes. XS and Tempts b/c the town of Seaside Heights has set the closing time to 4am. IMHO, its the municipall ordinances that destroyed the NJ club scene, which lead to the closing of Hunka Bunka and Metro Lounge.

    no disrespect to your friends either, since they dont know much about the club scene, they probably didnt realize nor care that JP was standing there playing music from his iMac...not that its bad, it was probably produced in his studio and he just pressed play

    What ever he did last night he was doing at Surf club aswell.... :)

    thats the thing with studio 9. people that dont go clubbin and dont know about the sick parties go there. a friend of mine called me up cause he left early and said it was a lame JP party. im sure alot of the rookies had a great time. if i was there i would be in the same shoes as notallthere so dont call him lame and crack on him cause he put an honest opinion about the night cause if i was there i would of done the same thing most likely. and i think it was symphony379 that is callin him lame.

    Dont take it from anyone else that a party was not good.... Last night was a blast... Music was great....Everyone was dancing all night non stop. I had a great time with all of my friends... I dont know one person in there that left early...And if they did, I'm sure it was because they had to work today.

    If it was so bad then why was own your Brother there all night with all of his friends... They all were having a blast.... And I'm sure you would think his opinion is prety good..... :)

    Dont judge if you werent there... Ask you brother.... It was a good party.... :) :)

    I just had a couple questions about the clubs and what not....I have a friend who is under 21 and has a fake id...how strict are they down there? Whats the best night to go where? And dress codes? thanks!

    When she presents her ID to the bouncers and they see that its a fake one, they will send her directly to the cops that are right outside the club.... Most likely, she will get in trouble...Tickets, or maybe arrested>> not sure .... But be carefull... Its not worth it....

    Dress code? The sexier, the better. Mini skirts are a must... :)

    Saturday nights are best for both Tempts and XS... to be at... Bamboo is right across the street if youre looking for a more bar type of crowd....

    its about QUALITY ... never will s9 pull off anything deko does .... big deal it holds more ppl .. remember exit ..holds 6,000 ppl ..where is it now ?..its about the vibe of the party.... peace :)

    Every club is their own. Deko is Deko. Studio 9 is Studio 9.... No club competes with each other, cause they all have different vibes... They are NOT competing with each other...

    All owners of both clubs are friends... They have been for yearsssssssss. Thats the funny part guys.... And you guys are waisting your time bashing both places....

    All owners and staff of both places RESPECT each other, so why are you guys making all this fuss? It pointless.

    Anyway, I dont post that much on here... But I have been reading every drama in this site for yearssss now.... lol I love it. I mean good drama.. Nothing like this shit. I enjoy both clubs... They both have different atmospheres and the staff at both places are great... I have been going to both, since they both openend.... They are a fun time... And thats it! Its a club, somewhere to go and mingle and have fun... Something to do for the weekend after a hard week of work....

    Go back 4 years ago....Read the posts from back then... It used to be so fun reading all the drama... You guys now just keep on going on and on about the same thing already!!!!!!!!!

    Get some new posts and make this site the way it used to be.... lol

    Let Me Just Say That Last Night Was The Tiestos Best Ever Performance In Nyc. It Was Amazing. Even The Sound System Was On Point. The Vibe Was Great. After The Let Down In Miami This Yr I Kinda Wrote Him Off Until Last Night. A Complete Redemption On His Part. He Truly Is Amazing. And To All You Haters, Find Another Hobby Cuz U Dont Know What The Hell Your Talking About.

    I didnt go last night, but my best time seeing him is when he spun last summer in Central Park... He was great from begining to end.... Great set!!! The best part was that it was outside and a great night!!!!

    They should bring him back in Central Park... :bounce::bounce:

    I dated your typical "juicehead" for two years a while ago. It was hell. Hated it. Constant diets, No carbs this, no carbs that, gym, gym, gym....... Couldnt put up with it any longer.

    Can someone confirm that Jonathan Peters will be at Studio 9 every thursday night..starting this thursday?

    JP will be spinning one Thursday night during the summer. I received the flyer in the mail today.. Jason Ojeda is there this Thursday night.... :)
