Lincoln Road is a nice spot to loosen up in the late evening. I know Cafeteria (Lincoln and Pennsylvania) has some really good Hotel Costes like music playin on Friday nights in the main dining room.

yeah. show up or get your ass kicked!! but for real... since we set off on this mission, i keep getting flashbacks to the movie Breakin' (can't remember which number) where they all have to rally together to throw a party to raise money to save the youth center.

Don't mean to threadjack here, but this night is about more than just Heather. It's our chance to show a primetime venue on "the strip" that house music can still make a club good money when it's promoted in such collaborative way as this party. If this night pops off, you can expect to see many more house music events at this prime location. I've got Paolo Mojo lined up for May 12th... as for where he plays could depend on this Friday night. And when you consider what Lust has lined up... we could really make a dent on "the strip" if we make this Friday go off. Let's do this right people!!!

For those that don't know yet, Angel Ultra Lounge is a new club that took over the old Nerve space. If you haven't heard of it, it's because they've mostly been doing hip-hop. BUT, I am now in charge of their Friday night bookings and we've got some great fukkin talent coming through there every Friday in April and beyond. Here's the lineup so far... April 7th = Onionz(Queens NYC - CR2 Recordings UK), Jimmy T, Sebastian C, and Seth Shore April 14th = Honest Cars (Scott Pace and Paul Paredes - Dallas TX) and Pedro Isoni April 21st = Lust4House presents DJ Heather April 28th = Mazi (Gourmet - Chicago), Richard Brunelle, and Alan Stenback It's all about diversity people... check out these Friday nights and you won't be dissapointed.

By working for "them" I also work for "you"... same company. And last time I checked, there's not a cunt-hair's difference between the two sites. They post practically the same threads, about the same parties. They both have drama. In the end, they're both messageboards for Miami nightlife. PERIOD. Hell yeah... I've posted half a dozen times begging someone to bring him ever since I heard his Esssential Set. It was so fukkin awesome. It's still one of my favorites to blast on the beach. I'll be there.

I was on Clubplanet first. Introduced to it by Sean, DJ_SS. He's also the one who introduced me to cooljunkie. I just migrated more to cooljunkie over time cuz i liked the design better and many of the people I was meeting and hanging out with regularly are on there more. I won't deny I'm a househead... but I'm a househead who genuinely appreciates all forms of electronica. And despite what you want to believe, there are plenty of other non-trance-bashing people on cooljunkie. If we're gunnu generalize... then I guess clubplanet is all glowstick-twirling-visor-wearing-trance-addicts. I don't think Aquabooty would bother posting threads on here if that were true.

In any given day I'll listen to anything from Farina, Hawtin, Sasha, Digweed, Pole Folder, High Contrast, Hybrid, Super tripped-out trancey downtempo, U2, Depeche Mode, Beatles, Bjork, Massive Attack, Dave Seaman, Nick Warren, Bob Sinclair... and I'm not the only one on cooljunkie with such varied taste. Everybody wants to belong somewhere. If categorizing cooljunkie as a househead forum helps you strengthen your image as a trance addict, more power to you. But I'll repeat this again for you. YOU.....ARE.....WRONG. The only funny thing (actually it's sad) is that anyone would waste a spilt-second of their lives trying to label another person or group of people. Do what you do and live on.
