Sander at Stereo is the best Sanding session anywhere, go there if you can make the hike and have a weekend to spare...he owns that room big time....it's his favorite club to play in the WORLD. He playes amazing anywhere, this show in Hartford will no doubt be rocking, and it's as close as he is coming to Boston anytime soon, so if you can get there..do it!
Sander Interview with Nocturnal Magazine (CAN) January 16th 2006
Here's the highlight..
Nocturnal: We have a few quick shots for ya...
Nocturnal: Favourite hotel in the world?
Sander: Ummmmm… the Meritage in Beverly Hills is really nice.
Nocturnal: Least favourite airport to fly into?
Sander: Least??? Ummm, Jesus… ok... I am not a big fan of the airport in Cairo.
Nocturnal: Most luxurious or indispensable item you travel with?
Sander: My supped up G4.
Nocturnal: Favourite remix or track you have ever produced?
Sander: Exhale obviously, but oh f**K… I don’t know.
Nocturnal: If you could play only one more international gig where would it be?
Sander: The moon… hahahahahha, no seriously... ummmmmmm, I would probably say Stereo in Montreal.
Nocturnal: Most elaborate event decorations you have ever seen?
Sander: I went to a few in Russia… especially Moscow, which were pretty ridiculous. Like almost Roman-esque, you know… naked women with food all over them.
Nocturnal: Pretty tough gig!
Sander: It was actually. Cause I was Djing ya know… and all you wanna do is come out there.
Nocturnal: Your first gig in Toronto?
Sander: Wasn’t too long ago, it was in the Guvernment with Max Graham. It was alright, they’ve been getting better as it goes along.
