Youpiee, Blessings from the celestial beings and an amazing Man, I found a new Home for SoulGem and we will shoot without long delay this coming Saturday November 10th, 2007 @ 11pm until 5am! In a State of the Art Venue, Featuring amazing decor, Light & Sound System, Big Screen Projections, and a real Dance-floor! We will not charge the door and boy, the Service is over the top, I personally experienced it, and it's truly hard to find places with this attitude!

Hi, Everyone, Unfortunatly I will stop all events @ D-BAR, Most of you actually didn't even know where this Venue was located, due that it was not open that long ago approximatly 4 month. Due also missing a prominet Sign of the venue, it's hard to find out where it is... As you know I've been doing "FunkFied" on Monday there for almost 2 month, as well as "SoulGem Season 3" on Saturdays. Now besides, to have the diffculties to make people come to this venue, still some notable Locals passed by there and supported me fiercly! It was for the Owners of the Venue not satisfying enough, and soon I felt that my true Clubgoers where not really attracted to come. It's mostly a gay venue, since it shares the doors with "Palace" which has its reputation catering to the Gay Customers. From my point of vue, even the Ownership is friendly, I soon was aware that I was hitting a wall of no professional communication, or even it seemed to me that it was avoided... This passed weekend I experienced a very strange behavior, that I don't want publically annouce it, since when spoken out, it was more likely not appreciated, but in contrary taken personally, which we all know, Business is never a personal matter, but more to find a way to make the whole venture to reach success. So I'm glad finally it climaxed to a point of no return on their part. Glad, because it gives me now time to get new things done, as well to focuse on Art Basel, Winter Music Conference, and the Season! So Thanks to all which have always supported me no matter where I did my events for over 12 years now, and continue to show me love and friendship! You know who you are! I will soon do a new event which the Mayor of Miami will be the Special Host along Vision TV Miami on November 13th, 2007! As well I'm preparing some amazing events in a new Venue very soon! Some info regarding this Event : in search to keep the soulful, real, positive, uplifting and rhythmic house music alive, and to cater to people in search of these genre of music and sounds, I came up with the idea to create an Event which would comply to the demands, thus SoulGem was born. Especially here in Miami-Beach it is sad to say, but we really miss this Music genre more and more, since the most of the Clubs, more, either to Hip-Hop driven, or Hardcore Techno, or Trance Music oriented. Which in both cases naturally less and less musicphils, but more a superficial crowd started to overflowed the clubland... So it's up to us the music-makers, artists, DJ's, to do something about it! Then we relaunched the event during the following seasons at Sofi Lounge, A-Bar and as well at the Penthouse Lounge. We went to NEW YORK CITY @ Flute Gramercy Park in 2006. It has featured DJ's and Artists coming from Germany, Italy and UK but as well as national renown DJ's and talents coming from NYC, San Francisco and Miami. philippio, how are you...? I totally agree with you regarding Cielo... I was hosting all summer last year the Fridays there... Somehow I miss it this year...but the Ocean is so perfect...we can't have everything at once... By the way I'm also active producing a new Album...so stay tuned on that and as well some new Funk era will soon hit the Beach again...remember "Funkfied"...??? Until soon

I remember when B.E.D Miami use to be one of the top clubs, and everyone would go there... But since over a year, they struggled to keep it position of 1. Fine Dining 2. Great Event-place 3. Glamourous Venue So I was wondering what's all about the changes there... I mean I have worked there almost for a year, and I was treated well there, so I could not imagine why such a great Club would fell so rapiditly... So here I am it is Monday, and normally since Back Door Bambi went in vacation I decide to stay home... Tonite Monday June 25th, 2007 I decide to make a tour and check-out diverse Venues... Together with a friend we went on to the club journey... First we went to a new event to Asian O Grill located between Linclon road and Collins to a new event co-hosted by the Magazine 'sixdegrees, and as well as Fabian a local celeb... It was a Kareokee night, and since I'm not really into it, we shortly left after some quite good performances...and went to "THE MONDAY SPOT TANTRA" There we entered pretty quickly, great door personal which greeted us friendly and let us in in a wink! Inside it was the blast! Of course Irene which is the -Owner-Host of the event conduct it since a over 3 years period amazingly well and it was the fire there! 2 Thumbs up for TANTRA! Then by 230am we decided to make a stroll to B.E.D I had a friend working at the office there, and he mentionned once that even him could not deal with the Door man 'Manny" I was surprised about it, since my friend work at the office there, that he would not want to deal with the door guy... I arrived there, and to my own surprise I got repelled...and when I asked the doorman what the problem is, he wanted not even give me an answer...wooow...So as we all know, how the doorman behaves, it's what guests will perceive from a club...the doorman is the business-card of a club... Since I know that B.E.D. is for sale, I was wondering, if the owners are aware of the un-professional behavior of their Promoters of Monday, or if they just didn't react on it... I mean if their own employees have problems to get in on Mondays what will be for customers, which at the end of the day pay the owner, the employees, as well as the doorguy... Is it because of it that a such a great Club as B.E.D. looses the glamour, or fame, because of ego-maniac little doormans? Which behave as they would be god themself...because they open a rope??? Or are they to dirty and cheap, that they accept under hand money to let then the people in, and so most of the regulars started to desert clubs like B.E.D...? I mean especially in Miami-Beach which the competition is fierce, so is this the fall of B.E.D.??? Maybe Oliver and Dirk the owner of B.E.D. has to come aware how they loose a venue, because they gave the power to the doorman to be almighty, and they forgot, that it is the customers which makes or breaks a club, so we need to treat them with respect, otherwise who knows maybe one day they have to close doors, because they forgot who pays the bills...
