  4. Ingrid for women huh? I havn't seen those yet, i'll have to take a look.. Agreed 7 seems to have taken a back seat to many new brands like Blue Cult, Yanuk, and Rock & Republic, Chip & Pepper.... but they are definately still around, they came out way before the onslaught of new denim brands so it was good timing on thier part.. Also brands like Miss Sixty, and Deisel will fair through the oversaturation of jean brands out right now.. All nice choices, I love how those look on the ladies...
  5. I dont produce but this looks like a great opportunity for someone who does... FYI: System is the company that handles Dieselboy.. ------------------------------------------ Hi, Eric here... I'm looking for prog house and down tempo/chill tracks for some low dough compilations. If you have any old tracks kicking around, I'd love to hear 'em. The deal is pretty simple - a master purchase with a $250 advance against a 10% royalty for CD or vinyl for each track. Le'me know. 6. geez I guess clothes do make the man??? ------------------------------------------------- NEW YORK - Andre 3000 is the world's best-dressed man, according to Esquire magazine. "He's a complete individual," Nick Sullivan, Esquire's fashion director, said Tuesday. "But that's really the point." Andre 3000 is the usually over-the-top dressed half of hip-hip duo OutKast. Some of the 30-year-old's fashion outings include: a lime green jacket at the 2004 Grammy Awards, candy apple red fur for the VH1 Big in 2003 ceremony and a pink-on-pink ensemble for the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards. "He's probably worn his most outrageous when he's in a video or on stage," said Sullivan, who said Esquire's list is more about personal style than a celebrity's stylist's style. "What we photographed him in is very much what he wanted to wear." Andre 3000 sports several different and subtle looks in the magazine's spread including a double-breasted suede trench coat by Michael Kors, a cashmere sweater by the Ralph Lauren Purple Label and corduroy trousers by AndreBenjamin, the rapper's own clothing line. Sources of his fashion inspiration include clothes from period flicks such as "Legends of the Fall" and "The Great Gatsby" and the "old men" in his neighborhood. "They're kind of like a uniform, which I've always been into," he says in the September issue of Esquire. "To me, that's real style, anything that feels comfortable and expresses your personality and makes you stand a little taller." Although the magazine has compiled best-dressed lists in the past, this year's list is the first worldwide affair. Other best-dressed men include "Today" co-anchor Matt Lauer, Prince Felipe of Spain, Afghanistan (news - web sites) President Hamid Karzai and San Francisco mayor Gavin Newsom. The list was compiled through a set of criteria by a panel of fashion experts and Esquire editors. Yahoo News Article

Ever since I could wear friggin underwear, prolly dating back to my special edition spiderman underoos, I always wonderd what the heck that hole is for in every pair of underwear, boxers, boxer-briefs and does anybody actually use it?? The darn hole in boxer briefs are a bit too small and sewn too tightly to fit anything through, and when I wear boxers, I always seem to find my way out and hang loose ha ha.... 12. Basically if "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy" had a straight member he'd be metrosexual.. Metrosexual: (noun) Of or pertaining to a straight, urban male who is eager to embrace and even show off his feminine side, especially when it comes to expensive haircuts, designer suits, and $40 face cream. -From Netscape Celebrity The kind of guy who paints his nails, wears flip-flops, owns a lot of shoes, takes an hour to do their hair etc. but is not really gay. This website kicks ass! http://www.urbandictionary.com/
  13. Welp folks its time to talk about my favorite topic, URBAN STYLE & FASHION (I could just say fashion but none of the guys would care to look at this thread ha ha). Anyway this is a report and of coarse a thread to express your views on what you loved and hated this summer as well as what you are linking for the fall, brands, trends ect... Trucker hats are dying a slow death; I think the beasties boys kinda revived it a little further with their recent appearances dawning the accessory.. Wristbands men & women: Seem to be a hot little item this summer with all its variations being work namely Leather wristbands, & Terry wristbands in Rasta colors and USA colors.. Belts & Belt Buckles men & women: HOT HOT HOT these were not just for country folk anymore, they ware a hot item this summer and still will be in the fall with all the designers adding them to their collections...Not to mention women are wearing them too and not the dainty feminine kind were talking about big ones!!! Also stylish belts are all the rage particularly white cracked leather belts, and studded belts and that so burnt but still hot. Ugg boots for the ladies: I have no idea why these were cool to wear in the summer but personally HATED IT!!! and always will.. Fedoras: These hats were always cool and always will be!! Men’s button down shirts: Definitely all the rage this summer and it will carry on to the fall as well with brands like Ben sherman and Diesel leading the way. Men’s & Women’s Polo shirts: HOT HOT HOT again this summer and will be for the fall too Penguin was a hot brand, and of coarse Lacoste & Polo.. Special washed & distressed Denim men & women: This WAS HOT and WILL BE hot for quite some time, the more torn and screwed up the denim the cool it gets.. hot denim fits for men are definitely a tighter fit and for women boot cut and of coarse low rise, although the waist line seems to be going back up, also the cigarette leg wit the zipper will be hot this fall.. brands women: diesel, miss sixty, yanuk, chip & pepper, seven (although not as hot as it was), and some others I can’t remember.. For men: Energie, Diesel, Ben Sherman is making cool jeans this season so watch out for them... LA seems to be the epicenter right now.. Ponchos: now you new york ladies were telling me about ponchos for quite some time and I guess the rest of the country finally caught on ponchos will be hot for the fall to the rest of the country now.. Von Dutch: the craze has finally seemed to mellow out thank god.. Faded, torn, stained, over washed fabrics seem to be the rage with all the urban clothing designers for prolly the next year too.. Also layered clothing will be hot for the fall with many designers making sewn together long sleeved collard shirts overlapped with t-shirts.. Plaid Plaid Plaid is a hot textile for the summer and fall... Multi-Colored bright sport shoes is the tone all year, with crazy color combo's and even crazier designs, still touching upon the 80's revival though not to mention metallic colors will be IN IN IN.. Dark Heavey Metal look will be in for the fall, with alot of blacks and rock inspired t-shirts... Ofcoarse you can't go wrong with a cool t-shirt any time of the year, but be on the lookout for off center prints, and alot of patchwork. Next year will be the year of the designer t-shirt but thats a whole nover thread.. Welp gotta get back to work, please add in your input on what you like and what you don’t like, brands, ect. ect. ect.
