  1. Surprisingly, the night went great. The crowd was better then expected -- especially at a 18+ Queens event. I'd say a good 75% of the crowd was over 21 and to top it off there was at least two girls to every guy. As most of you know the party was hosted at Club DNA in Queens, the place was rennovated and looks really nice .. and the sound system is sick. DJ's Lil Cee, Mike Rizzo & Johnny Budz were holding it down, Lil Cee did his thing .. All in all, I had a great night .. I'd say there were more then 1,000 people in the place .. and the capacity didn't phase me a bit. This website has picture of the party .. ***************.com. That's n i g h t l i f e t r e n d s d o t c o m dont know if its gonna get blocked ..

  3. Vault, was asked to do the party there once -- then backed away. Bad neighborhood .. Clic is a nice billiards/bar, went once -- no complaints. Remy -- never went.

  5. Yes, Club DNA in Astoria. It's been recently rennovated so it has a fresh vibe. Since we re-opened the crowd has just been getting better, haven't had one uncalled for situation. Cee it's gonna be big. We've had Vic basically every other week unfortunately hes gonna be at ICE but we still got you, Mike Rizzo & Johnny Budz -- Should be GREAT!
  6. Hey thanks for the compliments. Were focused on one club now but we look forward to 2005 having plenty more in store for us so once those parties get going -- the site should be really good, were trying to make the best out of one venue for now but keep checking back! 9. Club DNA in Astoria Queens is going to be 18+ on NYE. Not exactly sure whats going down, theres some rumors of performances, ktu might be hosting it, once I find out, I'll let you know. Until then if you would like to check out DNA before NYE - email me at ClubDNANYC@aol.com.
  10. You guys are crazy, paying 60$ to get into a New York City Night Club. Understandable its a big night with two huge DJ's but theirs a limit. Try Club DNA in Astoria Queens .. 20/15 Reduced on Guestlist - Can't go wrong.
  11. Rumor has it SoundFactory will be re-opening in February, does not look like JP will be spinning their so obviously it wont be the Soundfactory it used to be. Let's not get our hopes up yet though .. As stated above, the club does need A LOT OF WORK ..
  12. Lol .. enjoyed your replies. Well im sorry that DNA doesnt satisfy all your expections, alot of people like it because its a local club. The club is run by greeks .. on friday night. Saturday night they party is mine and my teams consisting of 75% italians. The crowd is nearly all italian and lately its been at least a 3 to 1 girl to guy ration on saturdays, I havent had no complains -- just compliments.
  13. Hi whats going on, I'm one of the event coordinators @ Club DNA in Astoria Queens. I believe the song your looking for is called Can't Go On & It's by Allie. Mike Rizzo helped make the song, shes actually a local from Queens so I say we support her, thats why we bought her to DNA. Anyway since I saw some confusion on the previous posts, The New DNA is now 21 for guys & 18 for girls. Admission is 25 for guys and 20 for girls, but reduced admission on a guestlists drops it 5 to 20 for guys and 15 for girls. Its a much nicer crowd since we went for this change, I actually saw a previous post that said on our opening night we had 45 people? It was actually 240 people & the reason we had so little was because we were strictly 21 and over for guys and girls on our opening night. Hopefully I cleared up any confusion, this Saturday November 6 we have Zelma Davis featuring Sylver performing LIVE singing the SF classic "After All This Time". For more information, directions, guestlist, tables, you can e-mail me at ClubDNANYC@aol.com & i'll get back to you A.S.A.P. Thanks!
  14. Hi, Just reading up on some posts. I actually am one of the event coordinators for Club DNA. Our Grand Opening was a little sluggish but thats because we turned away about 400 people under 21. Now that we decided to go 21 for guys, and 18 for girls. 1- The crowd has been beautiful and 2- It's been getting more packed week in-week out. Friday night is more of a greek night, they play house in the main room and greek music in the back room and tend to switch it up. Saturday Night is main floor house music by resident Steve Petsis & usually a guest DJ whether it be Mike Rizzo, Vic Latino, Johnny Budz etc and in the back room is strictly hip hop. Its 25 for guys regular and 20 for girls .. but on the guestlist it cuts down to 20 for guys and 15 for girls. If your interested in getting more information you could contact me at ClubDNANYC@aol.com. Thanks

  16. Riccione is the spot be, has the most beautiful night clubs in Italy. The night clubs vary from LARGE clubs resembling SF to local clubs on the beach. One is called Peter Pan, one is called Il Mondo, another is called Disco Beach, another is called Sole'. Good Luck!
  17. If your looking for something in Queens, I suggest Club DNA. I know, god only knows what you have heard about it in the past but it has recently taken a drastic change. Its 21 for guys now and 18 for girls, and newly rennovated. Definately one of the nicest places in new york and i've been around ALOT. I went this past Saturday and it was Awesome. Vic Latino was their with Angelo Venuto .. besides that, the DJ didnt strictly play commercial stuff. He was pretty good, its Steve Petsis mixing every Saturday. Mixed vocals with straight beats and I loved it. This saturday they have Danzel,Narcotic Thrust and Vic Latino Broadcasting LIVE .. should be another sick night if you want to check it out.
  18. Agreed. Milano is the spot, but if your stuck in Rome for the time that your going, the best bet is to go to La Piazza di Spagna. Nice stores their - Prada, Gucci, Ferre, Moschino etc., all the big players. If you get a chance to go to Milano -- GO AND BRING BACK ALL THE NEWEST STYLES!
  19. Totally agreed, Milano is the spot to go. Although if you go to Rome -- your best bet is to hit the center. Piazza di Spagna has some amazing stores - Gucci, Prada, Furla, Fendi, Ferre - ALL THE BIG PLAYERS =]

  22. Hopefully a night I will never have to experience again. I decided to go to Razzous in Westchester, I should have known better. The music was decent but the crowd was -- YOUNG. I'm only 20 and usually dont get bothered by that thing but it was too much of a sore thumb for me but it really seemed like a ZOO. Two thumbs down to Razz ..
