here is the official thread for us party throwers to discuss our favorite venues. here we can give the low down on how spots treat the promoters, the best deals, best decor, etc. I must recommend Porters Restaurant over on W. 23rd st. & 7th Ave. Excellent drinks, delicious food & nice decor! They have a decent sized lounge below that can acommidate approx. 90 people. The restaurant part is also available along with the outside terrace. When we hosted an event there, we had impecable service. Respectful waiters served out clients. Wasn't to expensive.
