After that, he will be arriving to INSPIRATION on Saturday for another dancefloor massacre......so prepare yourselves you've been warned!!!

On Saturday May 10th join us for a very special edition of INSPIRATION as we celebrate resident DJ Jose Marquez's 30th B-Day! On top of that we have a very special guest in the house. Direct from Belgium for his first visit to Los Angeles....Boddhi Satva!! If the name sounds unfamiliar to you, the music most definitely is not. Boddhi's infectious spiritual sound is in constant rotation at Inspiration. With releases already on Yoruba Records, SEED Recordings, and his own recent label Offering Recordings, Boddhi is one bad dude you need to watch out for... He grew up listening to Jazz, Funk, Hip-Hop, R&B as well as Soukouss, Makossa and Ndombolo to name a few, and started making music in 1994. Boddhi Satva wrote, sung, and produced for some Hip-Hop groups that he and a couple of friends started. In 2000 he moved to Brussels. Boddhi was introduced to the music of Kevin Yost and Alton Miller while on a trip to London. It was like a revelation to him in that it marked the beginning of his musical journey and it was at this time he decided that he wanted to play and produce House Music. After a short period of studying and working in the diamond industry, Boddhi began to dedicate more and more of his time in the studio, to work on the production of his album Furthermore, in 2005 he met Alton Miller and invited him to collaborate on this Album Project. In 2006 he and Alton Miller produced an EP which was released on the French Label ATAL. During the same year (2006) he’s signed on Osunlade’s Yoruba Records (Osunlade who’s known for many collaborations with India Arie, Musiq Soulchild, RadioHead, Prince etc…) for an Album, on wish Boddhi is actually Putting the final touches and that has been introduced by the “Bria’s Offering EP†wish has been acclaimed and considered as a breakout hit. Boddhi Satva is a fast-rising star in the world of Dance Music and is destined to become a huge success because of his new and fresh sound
