Hello, friends: This Wednesday, September 21, Qoöl LA is hosting a Katrina Relief Fundraiser at Soul Folks. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to UNICEF's Katrina Relief Fund. UNICEF's universal mandate is to ensure the fundamental survival, protection and well-being of children, regardless of race, religion, geography, gender or politics. UNICEF's immediate concern in the wake of Hurricane Katrina is the survival and protection of affected children, ensuring that adequate food, water, medicine, sanitation and shelter are available for all children and families. UNICEF is also focused on reuniting children with their parents, family members or guardians as soon as possible.
