Hopefully we can get most of them moved around in Miami so for those of you who would like to see these artists still can... To bad you couldnt have seen what we had locked down for the WMC it was one hell of a weeks lineup... 12/03 – Eddie Halliwell & Infusion 12/10 - John Graham “Quivver†& DJ Disciple 12/17 - DJ Sneak 12/31 – Blank & Jones 01/14 – Paul Harris of “Dirty Vegasâ€!! 01/21 – Above & Beyond 01/28 – Armand Van Helden
  2. Sorry I just saw your post. Nocturnal does not want Sneak at their club so I am under the impression that the show is being moved to another club next Friday. Keep posted, more info will come for sure...
  3. Due to impending circumstances beyond our control, Nocturnal has canceled all events after 12/17. It is with deep regret that we have to break this to you because not only has there been a great deal of hard work behind these events, past and present but we are fans of the music just as much as you and were really looking forward to hosting them for the good people of south FL. Quivver this Saturday will be the last event at Nocturnal. We are currently working with the agents to secure venues for the rest of our bookings. Some of them may remain in Miami while others may not. At any rate, thank you for all of your support and if any of are ever in Atlanta, let us know as we still have a great thing going here.

  5. Saturday, December 17th, 2k5 IN LIKE FLYNN & SURFACE IS PROUD TO PRESENT…. THE LIVING LEGEND GEORGE CLINTON ROOFTOP CONCERT w/ HOUSE LEGEND DJ SNEAK Next Saturday December 17th Nocturnal Presents… From The Rock N’ Roll Hall Of Fame, The Living Legend George Clinton & The Son Of Funk World Tour 06. An Exclusive Presentation In Miami LIVE On Nocturnal’s Famous Rooftop With World Renown House Legend DJ Sneak In The Main Room GEORGE CLINTON & THE SON OF FUNK WORLD TOUR ON THE ROOFTOP FOR A VERY RARE AND SEPECIAL PERFORMACE!! George Clinton is the single most influential figure in the history of funk, the mastermind behind both Parliament & Funkadelic. Clinton started his career in junior high, founding The Parliaments, a barbershop doo-wop ensemble, which scored a major hit with "I Wanna Testify" in 1967. Clinton then began experimenting with harmonies, melody and rhythm and taking cues from the psychedelic movement, forever setting himself apart from the Motown era. By the early 1970’s, the group’s tight songs evolved into sprawling jams around the funkiest of rhythms. They dropped the "S" from the band name and Parliament was born. Around the same time, Clinton spawned Funkadelic, a rock group which fused psychedelic guitar distortion, bizarre sound effects, and cosmological rants with danceable beats and booming bass lines which became the definition of funk. Funkadelic made a number of Earth shattering concept albums, focusing the politics facing the planet, with titles like Free Your Mind and Your Ass Will Follow, Maggot Brain, and America Eats It’s Young. At the dawn of the new millennium, the Parliament/Funkadelic juggernaut has shown no signs of slowing down, remaining active on the recording and touring fronts. The line-up includes both original band members, such as guitarist Gary Shider, guitarist Dewayne "Blackbyrd" McKnight, guitarist Mike Hampton, and bassists William "Billy Bass" Nelson and Cardell "Boogie" Mosson, along with fresh new voices with sometimes as many as 30 people appearing on stage at once. In the summer of 2002, George Clinton & Parliament/ Funkadelic completed an ambitious world tour of the United States, Europe, Australia, and Japan. DJ SNEAK!! One of the second wave of influential Chicago house producers and a member of the vanguard of late-'90s American house producers, DJ Sneak wasn't born in the Windy City but began listening to house soon after his family arrived from Puerto Rico in the early '80s. Because he could speak no English, Sneak gravitated to instrumental music (as well as graffiti art), and became inspired by Chicago legends such as Marshall Jefferson and DJ Pierre. Many of those early innovators had left Chicago for the East Coast by the late '80s, when Sneak was ready to start in the business; by 1992, however, Cajmere had begun a resurgence in the city's classic sound by starting up Cajual Records. Sneak aided in the revolution with a series of singles on Cajual's sister label, the harder-oriented Relief Records. Besides other productions for Strictly Rhythm, Henry St., ZYX, 83 West and Feverpitch (several of which feature Armand Van Helden on co-production, building on the Latin vibes of their heritage), DJ Sneak has also released mix compilations including 1996's Kinky Trax Collection and the following year's Buggin' Da Beats. JOHN GRAHAM aka QUIVVER www.quivvermusic.com John Graham tunes are a part of every top DJ's box and have been for some time now, from the early days of Saxy Lady and Twist & Shout in 1994, right up to date with the monstrous These Are The Days, John has been, and continues to be, one of dance music's leading producer/DJs. Under the alias Quivver, John was signed to A&M Records, where, along with writing partner Neil Barry, they released 2 tracks (as mentioned above), both making huge dents on the dance-floors of the World and gathering a massive, ever growing following for Quivver along the way. The likes of Sasha, Oakenfold, Digweed and many, many more became fans and Quivver became a household name! John in the meantime is busy working on material for a brand new ep for spring 2005, and has completed a Space Manoeuvres album to be released by Tirade records this year (2005).
