hmm last time i djed in middletown, i got a glass bottle thrown at my head ( i ducked, hehe) then i watch about 5 guys stab my friend with box cutters, umm.... not interested.

they were offering it when bad boy bill played there a couple weeks back, now this week with judge jules. Now what i dont understand is on the home page of this site when u click on the date it gives u an invite and to call the club to be put on the list for the free admission and champagne (spelling, lol). But of course i had my doubts because ive been around the nyc club scene for many years. Bottom line is the idiot lady f$cked me on my comp into the party and free bottle. I called twice to confirm my name was on the list and when i got to the door that friday night to see bad boy bill, wouldnt ya know im not on the list. Now had of brought 10 people to the club and told them we all could get in for free i woulda made an ass outta my self. So watch out when they run these promotions, there not the brightest people working at these clubs. Its simple if your gonna run a business and attract people to your club, follow through with what your offering. Now i was lucky enough that the 2 girls working the list believed me and they gave me and 2 friends comps. I just want to warn some people to expect this if they're tryin to get in next time

well it was my first time out in a nyc club in about 2 years. Hit up spirit and i enjoyed it very much. Chill people, good vibe and wasnt that crowded. Ive been goin out since i was 17 and now that im 27 i still realize how much i still love this shit, lol. Im probably gonna be the 40 old guy in the club hangin with the 20 year olds, hahahah. Its sat. night and i cant wait to go back again next week. Nice to see all the nyc party people again, i love you guys. See ya on the dance floor.

well off the original topic now. But how could they close a club like twilo, then it be reopened a couple years later as another club??? I mean when they closed Tunnel, it was for good wish i had that old twilo disco ball for my room, haha

well thats what the lady told me who answered the phone at the club. I called her back and said i herd differently. shes said thats what we tell people. but who ever works the door, its up to them if there gonna let u in thats all. Im just goin to see bad boy bill, dont want to fuck it up and not get in. I got my balls busted at webster hall a couple years back cuz i had sneakers. Just want to avoid any of that, thanks for the info guys P.s Is spirit the old Twilo club???

i called the club during the week and they told me no sneakers, timbs, etc. I also talked to a couple of people who have gone in the past and they say u can wear sneakers. Id much rather wear sneakers, who the hell can really dance in shoes anyway? Im checking out this fuckin fridays, i dont know if its because its kinda a new party they're changeing up the dress code a little. As of now im rockin jeans and a button down with black shoes, but let me know if i can get away with sneakers, thanks.
