(New Jersey-WABC, July 27, 2006) Police say they have charged a man in the death of an 18-year-old girl who was found inside a dumpster.Jennifer Moore was last seen Tuesday in the early morning hours leaving a nightclub on the West Side. Her body was later found in a dumpster.
The suspect, 35-year-old Draymond Coleman, is in the 10th Precinct because he was picked up in Manhttan. But Coleman is being charged with murder by the Hudson County prosecutor's office since the crime of murder was committed, police believe, in Weekawken.
His girlfriend is being charged with hindering prosecution and tampering with evidence.
Law enforcement sources are telling us that the break in this case came when Coleman used the victim's cell phone to call his mother.
And the Medical Examiner's office says Moore died as a result of blunt trauma to the head and strangulation.
The scene of the murder, law enforcement sources tell us, was a third floor room of a hotel in Weehawken, New Jersey. This morning, we watched as investigators carefully placed evidence in a large bag while detectives canvassed the neighborhood.
A few hours before, a few blocks away in West New York, there was the gruesome discovery: 18-year-old Jennifer Moore's body pulled from a dumpster behind an apartment house.
Alberto Ortega's mother saw the whole thing.
"The guys that went to pick it up, put it inside the bag and zipped it up and put a blanket over her," Alberto said.
Police say Moore and a friend spent a part of Monday night at the "Guest House" on West 27th Street in Chelsea. When the left the bar at about 2 a.m., their illegally parked car had been towed to the Pier 76 impound yard on 38th Street and West Side Highway.
Authorities there would not release the car because the teenagers were so drunk.
EMS was then called to take the girls to a hospital. The friend went but Jennifer strayed away, walking north along the West Side Highway. About 5:08, she called her boyfriend on her cell phone to tell him that a strange man was following her.
Law enforcement sources believe Moore was brought back to the Weekawken hotel into a room where the stranger's live-in girlfriend was waiting and that the teen was murdered early Tuesday morning and her body disposed of that evening.
Today in Harrington Park, where the family lives in a tan ranch house, neighbors brought over food and gift baskets.
Jennifer Moore's father, Hugh Moore: "This is the worst possible news about our daughter this morning. But I want to thank Harrington Park Police and New York City for really doing everything possible."

Our clubs are exclusive dance music clubs. We dont want to fucking hear hip hop in the main room period!!!!! They play that shit at every fucking bar in nyc. So for those who want to hear hip hop go to those places. No disrespect to the Dj for doing his thing. But that style is not welcome on the main floor at crobar. Play it in a back side room.

ive been hanging in the city for many many years now. You always have to watch your back and be aware of your surroundings. Id rather a bullet in the persons head who did this then a jail sentence.

come september avalon will start featuring a party in coordination with a local internet radio station that will have REAL house music on saturday nights. there will be tons of serious local talent along with big names aswell. and all of this is goin to be broadcast live from the club on the radio station. its gonna be an awesome party.

yeah its in philly. And local 13 just had there Bang party there which was a pretty big party. Guess the club holds a decent amount.

I like the club and enjoy partying there. But i mean cmon you gotta be fucking kidding me if your going to book Crystal Method as a dj after they are known through out the world as live performers. Granted half the people at the club that night didnt know or didnt even care who the fuck they were. But the other 50% in my opinion were cheated. And stop playing that fucking hip hop on the main floor til 2am. That better fucking stop come the end of summer. Im trying to get my buzz on with my vodka and redbull to prepare myself for the night. I cant get in the fuckin zone with that 97.1 bullshit. Save that garbage for the side room.

your soo wrong guy. A church is an excellant place for a night club. I mean think about what goes on in a church and think about what goes on in a night club. Two totally different things and meanings, its really pure evil and i love it!!!

Ah it's great to think about all those fun parties. Liberty was definitely a favorite of mine, although I don't think it was the best at Roseland. That may go to Super Love, The Orb, or one of the Monkey parties.
Return to the source was the party at Liberty Science center. I almost felt bad for the beating that the place took after that event. But it was still a once in a lifetime experience.
Best party in Asbury Park was Believe NYE 96-97 for sure. Actually think that may make my list of favorite parties ever.
Remember the House of God parties in Long Island? What about the Translucent parties upstate? Perpetual Rhythm, Perpetual Vibe, Perpetual Motion? Remember Perpetual Vibe getting raided just as Union Jack went on and EVERYONE was peaking on E and 20/20 was there to do there first expose on Raves?!!

I can't even begin to speak about 9volt...those people were(and still are in many ways) my family for a very long time. Thats a wole different thread.
Your giving me chills just thinking about all those parties. The 2 that stick out the most for me was Perpetual Rhythm, the rave in the fucking cave!!!!! That was the ultimate underground experience. Oh and cant forget happiness and the last minute move to the freight yard. Josh wink tearing it up in the main room. The main room dance floor is known for bouncing to the beat. Im saying the floor literally feels like its jumping up and down with you.

I guess the flyer didnt technically say Crystal Method doing a "live performance" so maybe this is all on me. I was disapointed to see them djing and not doing a live performance. I mean when you think of Crystal Method you think "live Performance" right??? I guess i went in there expecting one thing and got another so i was disapointed. Just like say if you go into an asain massage polar. When you think of asain massage polars you think of getting your "nut off" one way or another. It could be as easy as a back and fourth up and down motion of getting "jerked off". Or simpley some old fashioned missionary position of sexual intercourse. Then you find out at the end of the message she doesnt "perform" any such activities. The point being i payed to get into crobar expecting to see Crystal Method doing a live show. To my surprise then didnt "perform" any such activity.

yeah i hear ya. Back in those days there was a hot party every weekend. Every friday and sat. night especially during the summer there was always a rave going on.
