this is for real.... I worked for them in Orlando when I lived there. Its all Electronic music based and all events they come up with are for charity and they donate %100 of the proceeds everytime, to UNICEF for the numerous disasters around the world that have happen recently. WMC has all the biggest Electronic DJ's and they tried to come up with a creative way to do something different with world class dj's and the fans. It gives the fans a chance to hang out with there favorite dj's and do something for charity. They also do online auctions with VIP packages that many clubs donated. All goes to UNICEF.

Video mixing in Pioneers format hasn't been around.... but mixing video has always been around. It just hasn't been popular so no one has been put on a stage to do it... Look up video mixers they are set up similar to audio mixers with crossfaders etc. Video guys use them at raves clubs etc. Pioneer is making DVJ's so the video mixer can be put in the spotlight like a DJ. Hoping someone will get really creative with them, which we are waiting to happen. You can do what all those guys did that night with older technology.. I have seen people put video on vinyl and play it off 1200's, but it never went anywhere. That night they made these DVJ's and these DVJ DJ's seem like something special and it was bullshit. Soon someone will break out and be innovative with those, as of now haven't heard or seen it yet. ... and AB rolls do count its just a different way of doing it

I agree with you %100... When you see someone all the time you will here the same mixes... Im sure Masterweb and any other DJ can tell you... anytime you are playing the same city 2-3 times a week it isn't easy to come fresh everytime.

What DJ P does is still his creation weather he does the same mixes all the time is one thing at least he is doing the same mixes live. What those guys did that night would be the same as DJ P putting a pre-made CD in then scratching over it. Most the video they used was pre edited... they really were not mixing it live... a little bit but not much.

I was there too..... I don't care if you hate freeze for his opinion but Freeze is old school and has a good eye for raw talent.. but that battle (if you can even call it a battle) was horrible... They all played on the new Pioneer DVD players. Im not hating cause they played on the new technology, but I was expecting them to do something with it!!! I would have had mad respect if they tried something and fucked up, I would understand the technology is new. But everyone of those guys had pre-edited DVD's, all they did is press play and scratched over the top of it... None of them.... yes absolutely none of them truely cut up the video and did anything creative at all. they sat at home they made some preprogrammed video clips stuck it the DVD players then scratched over it. And the they were not even good at that. I wasn't expecting much out that night... but damn I was not impressed at anytime the whole night.... except for DJ P... but I won't even count him... he did his normal thing and like always he gains more and more of my respect.. that guy is one of the best DJ's Ive seen.
