I am an East Coaster (Philly, to be specific), and I will be out in L.A. for 2 months on a studio internship. I was just wondering what places are hot right now, and where the right connections are to be made. I am an eclectic. I dig brewpubs and live music, but I also want to know where the best DJs are spinning and where are the most exclusive parties. The burners sounds pretty chill, too. Any advice?
